NIPSSA Winter Carnival 2026

Our Year 5 and 6 students recently represented our school at the 2024 NIPSSA Winter Carnival at Kingsway Sporting Complex. The day was full of energy, teamwork, and great competition across AFL, soccer, and netball. Our students embraced the challenge and displayed impressive sportsmanship and resilience throughout every game.

We are proud to share the fantastic results from the day:

Girls’ AFL — 1st place, undefeated all day - winning the title for the 3rd year in a row
Boys’ AFL — 1st place, winning the title in a very tight and exciting grand final
Netball team — 3rd place, showing strong teamwork and consistency
Boys’ soccer — 3rd place, with several exciting matches
Girls’ soccer — 6th place, with 1 win, 1 draw, and several close contests
A huge thank‑you to our staff, parent helpers, pre-service teachers and supporters who coached, encouraged, and cheered from the sidelines. Your involvement helps make days like this such a success.

On Wednesday, 10 June 2026, the Primary School officially launched its celebration of LifeLink Day 2026. Our school captains attended the event at Corpus Christi College, while back at school, students took part in a pyjama day to help raise funds for LifeLink.

The Scholastic Book Fair will run from Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th June 2026.
If students are bringing cash, please ensure it is placed in a zip-lock bag or sealed envelope with their name clearly written on it. EFTPOS facilities will also be available for your convenience.

Wednesday 17th June is Family Night! Come along to visit your child’s classroom and enjoy viewing their amazing work. While you’re here, be sure to stop by the library and explore the Book Fair.

In Week 9, you will be able to buy a cup of warm Milo.

The 94th Annual Festival and Procession will take place on Sunday 14th June 2026 at 2pm, and we encourage everyone to come along and support the St Anthony’s community. Students who attend the procession will be rewarded with free dress on Monday — we hope to see you there!
