Something that has stood out for us so far this year was the idea of a legacy — such as the stories we inherit, the paths we forge, and the footprints we leave for those who follow.

For our dancers, legacy is found in every rehearsal, every friendship, every challenge overcome, and every student who helps shape the culture of our program. Together, they are building something that extends far beyond the stage. Together, they continue to build a community that we are proud to call ‘home’ 🏠 💫

This weekend marks the final countdown before our 2027 Specialist Performing Arts auditions begin next week!

To all of our Year 6 students preparing to audition — chookas! 🎭✨ We know you’ve been working hard, and we can’t wait to see your talent, creativity and passion shine.

Remember, auditions aren’t about being perfect — they’re about sharing what you love and giving it your best shot.

We’re so excited to meet the next generation of performers and future members of our SPA family. ❤️

Do you have a routine you’d love to share on stage? This is your chance!

Each year, our Dance Showcase features a selection of student-led performances alongside our class and troupe items, and we are excited to once again invite students to audition for the opportunity to perform an additional piece as part of the 2026 Dance Showcase.

Whether it’s a solo, duo, trio or small group routine, we want to see your creativity, passion and talent shine. 💃✨

🎭 You may audition with:
• Your own original choreography
• Choreography from your home dance studio (permission to perform must be obtained prior to auditioning)

🎥 Accepted audition footage includes:
• Competition performances
• Rehearsal footage
• Studio recordings
• Footage filmed at school

📅 Submissions close: Friday Week 10

We absolutely love seeing our students step outside their comfort zones, share their artistry and bring something unique to the stage. We can’t wait to see what you have been working on! 💙

The talented Year 9 Specialist Performing Arts students at Wanneroo Secondary College are proud to present Seussical Jr. - a colourful, heartwarming musical adventure that brings the beloved stories of Dr. Seuss to life on stage!

Join Horton, Gertrude, Mayzie, the Cat in the Hat and all your favourite Seussian characters in a magical production filled with laughter, music, imagination and plenty of surprises.
