To kickstart NAIDOC Week, we are thrilled to welcome back a very special friend to our North Narrabeen community!

🗓 On July 6th at 3:00 PM, the incredibly talented Ryka Ali will perform KADUL live at Golden Seeds.

Through the magic of live didgeridoo music, traditional storytelling and play-dances, our children will connect directly with First Nations history. From mimicking unique Australian animals like the kangaroo and emu to learning Torres Strait dances, our little ones will experience a beautiful afternoon of song and motion.

About Ryka Ali:
◽ Heritage stems from the Wuthathi tribe (Cape York) and the Torres Strait Islands.
◽ Winner of the Young, Black and Deadly Talent Quest and a proud Youth Ambassador.
◽ Brings world-class festival experience and interactive workshops straight to our children (and you!)

Celebrating the oldest continuous living culture on Earth is a vital piece of the EYLF 'Belonging' framework we follow.

Upcycled Milk Bottles & Green Little Thumbs! 🍼🌱

Our sustainability program starts in the nursery! Our little babies used recycled milk bottles as watering cans to give our Village herb garden a fresh drink.

Aren't they doing a wonderful job? We’re pretty sure the parsley is loving it! 🌿

Teaches -
✨ Our Little Seeds to repurpose materials and protect our world from the very beginning.
✨ Grasping, lifting, and tilting the bottles - fantastic coordination practice for tiny hands.
✨ Sensation of feeling the cool water splashing and smelling the fresh, earthy herbs.

While many centres takes a holiday during school holidays, our garden is still growing! 🌿✨ We know that for busy families, consistency is the seed of security.

Because we are a boutique 64-place centre, the holiday period never feels "busy" or overwhelming. It’s a time of calm, purposeful play. Whether it’s a mini excursion, nature craft, or a long afternoon in our coastal garden, your child’s "home away from home" is ready for them.

The rain cleared, the sun came out and our Little Seeds headed straight back "Beyond the Gate" into our local Narrabeen bushland!

Our classroom doesn’t close for rain.

A few days of constant rain? That just means the adventure gets a little more exciting! We believe that nature play shouldn’t stop when the sun goes away - it just changes colours.

We suited up our Little Seeds in their bright blue, hooded raincoat onesies, pulled on the gum boots, and headed straight out to explore our garden, the playground, and even venture "Beyond the Gate" for a rainy mini-excursion!

In our boutique Village, we don't keep children cooped up inside. We give them the confidence and the gear to explore their world, rain or shine.

This National Reconciliation Week, our boutique village was filled with reflection, connection and the beautiful stories of our First Nations people. We believe that an inclusive education starts as a tiny seed of respect, nurtured early, to bloom into a lifelong appreciation for the land we live and play on.

Our classrooms came alive with hands-on learning experiences designed to help our children connect with and contribute to their world:
❤️ First Nations flag sensory trays, feeling textures while learning the rich meaning behind the colours.
💛 Paper bark and gum leaf painting - discovering how natural materials have been used for storytelling for thousands of years.
🖤 Inspired by traditional "cave" drawings and handprints, the children collaborated on art that celebrates teamwork and history.

We are so incredibly grateful to cultivate our future leaders right here on this beautiful land.

🏈 NRL Footy Fun Day🏈

What an exciting day we had in Preschool yesterday as the children took part in our NRL Footy Fun Day! This came from the children’s huge interest of and 🦅

The children had the opportunity to experience the enjoyment of Australian footy through a variety of fun games and activities. They practised running, passing, kicking, and working together as a team while building their confidence and developing their gross motor skills. It was wonderful to see the children encouraging one another, showing great sportsmanship, and most importantly, having lots of fun!

Following the games, we held a special prize presentation where the children proudly celebrated their participation and teamwork. There were many big smiles as the teams received their awards and cheered for their friends.

To make the day even more special, Miss Leah became our DJ and turned the celebration into a fun dance party! The children enjoyed dancing, singing along to the music, and sharing lots of laughter with their peers.

It was a fantastic day filled with teamwork, active play, friendship, and fun. We are so proud of all the children for their enthusiasm, positive attitudes, and willingness to give everything a go!
