Our Instrumental Concert brought together a huge range of talent, dedication and plenty of memorable performances.
Congratulations to all of the groups who took to the stage, and a special shoutout to Mr Corelli's 8B class for their ukulele performance of Take Me Home, Country Roads.
Music in this reel is performed by our Senior Instrumental Band.
Today, students in our Football Development Program had the incredible opportunity to be mentored by the Matildas Head Coach Joe Montemurro and Assistant Coach Joe Palatsides.
They shared valuable insights into the technical side of the game, while also challenging students to think about what it takes to succeed beyond football. Through stories from their own journeys, they highlighted the importance of resilience, hard work, discipline and maintaining a positive mindset when facing challenges.
Most importantly, they spoke about the passion and joy that underpin success in sport. Students were encouraged to embrace every opportunity, continue learning, and remember why they fell in love with the game in the first place.
We are grateful for the time, knowledge and inspiration they shared with our young people. Experiences like these help shape confident, resilient students who are prepared to pursue their goals both on and off the field.

Term 3 is shaping up to be HUGE for Wyndham Central College!
We are excited to invite all staff, students and their families to our Multicultural Week Family Night Celebration as part of our school’s Multicultural Week activities.
This event is a chance for our school community to come together and celebrate the many different cultures, languages and traditions at Wyndham Central. It’s a night for students and families to share food, music, performances and stories, and to celebrate how our differences make our school stronger.
Food will be available for purchase from 5pm
Concert will be held in the gym from 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Tickets are $5 per family (up to 10 members), with all proceeds going back into the school to support future cultural and community events for students and families.
We warmly encourage all families to attend and be part of this celebration of identity, culture and connection.

Huge thanks to the Paradox Freeza team for visiting our school this week as part of their School Tour with SEVEN POUND HALO
Students had a great time connecting with the team, checking out the Street Surfer bus, and learning more about local youth events and opportunities. It was fantastic to see young people engaging through music, activities, and positive community connections.
Make sure you grab your tickets for this Saturday’s all-ages event featuring an incredible lineup of bands from 3pm–8pm.
This is a smoke, drug and alcohol free youth event, with tickets available for $10 at the door.
A great opportunity for young people to connect, enjoy live music, and be part of a safe and inclusive community event.

IDAHOBIT is an important reminder that every student, staff member and family deserves to feel safe, respected and valued for who they are. As a Safe School, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and everyone has a sense of belonging.
Connection and community matter. Groups such as Rainbow Club provide students with a safe and welcoming space during break times to connect with others, build friendships, and know they are supported. These spaces help foster confidence, acceptance and wellbeing for young people across our school community.
