Our Year 3 students had an amazing day at Scienceworks today🌟. Through hands-on activities, interactive exhibits, and exciting discoveries, students explored a range of scientific concepts while having lots of fun. It was wonderful to see their curiosity, enthusiasm, and teamwork on display throughout the day.

A big thank you to our staff for making this excursion such a success. We hope you enjoy these snapshots of our young scientists in action!!

On Monday, our School Leaders took part in a Leadership Day focused on teamwork, collaboration and building strong leadership skills.
Through a range of team-building activities, students explored what it means to be an effective leader. Leadership is not just about leading from the front; it’s about listening, supporting others, taking responsibility and working together towards a common goal.
We are proud of the way our leaders embraced every challenge and demonstrated our school values throughout the day.

Our Breakfast Club volunteers got a surprise today when our aprons were delivered! Thank you to Miss Papageorge for adding PERRI to the front of them!

As we head into the final week of Term 2 next week, we wanted to share a few reminders.
On Friday 26 June at 9:00am, we will be holding our whole school assembly, and all families are warmly invited to attend.

Friday 26 June is also the last day of Term 2, and students will finish early at 2:05pm.

TheirCare will be available from 2:05pm for families who require after-school care. TheirCare will also be running a School Holiday Program during the break.

Families interested in the program are encouraged to contact TheirCare directly for further details and booking information.

Our Bunnings BBQ was a great success!!! Thank you to all of our volunteers throughout the day, our families who popped down for a snag and a drink and our students who rode their bikes down to say hello and grab some lunch!
792 sausages - cooked, served and eaten!!

As there is a public holiday next time the pop-up library is due to come back to Riverbend, they're going to come next week instead on Monday 1st June from 3:05pm till 4pm.
