SACSA // During Weeks 6-8, eight King's soccer teams from Years 3-10 proudly represented the school at the annual SACSA Soccer Carnivals at Barrett Reserve, West Beach, competing against other Christian schools from around the state. Throughout the carnivals, our students represented King's exceptionally well, showing great effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship across a range of conditions. The Year 3-4 Boys and Year 9-10 Boys teams were crowned champions of their divisions, while the Year 7-8 Boys and Year 9-10 Girls teams finished as runners-up. The Year 5-6 Boys and Girls teams also enjoyed strong carnival performances, both securing third-place finishes. PERFORMING ARTS // At the end of Week 7, we held the final Lunchtime Music Sessions for the term, with several artists performing songs from the 2000s. A fun time was had as we enjoyed the music of such artists as Coldplay (Viva La Vida), Rascal Flatts (Life is a Highway) and the Goo Goo Dolls (Iris), performed wonderfully by our talented students. Term 3 will be huge with our annual Battle of the Artists competition. We can't wait to see what our students bring to the stage!

EARLY YEARS & JUNIOR SCHOOL // "Our Reception-Year 5 fundraiser for this semester was a cereal box domino. It was to show the FISHER Principle of Service by donating cereal boxes to Foodbank and Pathways. We collected over 400 boxes of cereal. The Reception-Year 5 student leaders helped arrange the cereal boxes in the Junior School ready for Foodbank to collect. Thank you to everyone who brought a cereal box to build our domino. Our Student Leaders did an amazing job of setting up and packing down." Written by our Year 5 Student Leaders, Emaline and Abigail.
