"Technical Support to Deliver Quality-Assured Skills Development Trainings for Qwami Madrasah Pre-Voc Graduates Aligned to the Bangladesh National Qualification Framework (BNQF) to Promote Wage/Self-Employment under the ILO-ISEC Project."

This orientation serves as a vital step in anchoring absolute transparency and institutional accountability across all our field operations.

With the technical support of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and implementation by Step-Up Skill Development Academy (SSD Academy), a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was successfully concluded today with 3 renowned Qwami Madrasahs in Cox's Bazar.

This landmark partnership will bridge traditional madrasah education with sustainable employment and information technology, carving out a definitive pathway to sustainable livelihoods for our graduates.

Simultaneously, the project targets a minimum of 60% female participation in mixed centers, scaling up to 100% female inclusion in dedicated women-only facilities, while strictly maintaining an OSH-compliant, safe laboratory environment.

We are deeply pleased by the host madrasah authorities' robust commitment to providing secure laboratory setups, IT infrastructure support, and driving community mobilization to ensure 100% daily trainee attendance.

The momentum continued yesterday afternoon, June 8, 2026, at 01:30 PM, with the enthusiastic grand launch of the "Electrical Installation & Maintenance (EIM), Level-1" technical training line at Modinatul Uloom Islamia Madrasah & Orphanage in Cha-bagan, Malumghat, Chakaria!

Implemented by our consortium partner Sharif Technical Training Institute (STTI) under the guidance of SSD Academy, this practice-heavy stream has officially welcomed 40 young male pre-vocational graduates. Over the next 7 months, these trainees will undergo rigorous, BNQF-aligned training to prepare them for immediate wage employment with electrical contractors, local businesses, or for technical self-reliance.

Yesterday, the trainees formally received their curriculum-specific logbooks and introductory stationeries to jumpstart their hands-on workshop modules. We are excited to see these young individuals transform technical knowledge into sustainable livelihoods.

Yesterday, June 8, 2026, marked a significant milestone as Step-Up Skill Development Academy (SSD Academy), alongside consortium partner Reliance Technical Institute (RTI), successfully hosted the grand inauguration ceremonies for two premium trades at Azizul Uloom Madrasa and Etimkhana in Rajarkul, Ramu.

We are thrilled to officially onboard 40 young male pre-vocational graduates into the mainstream economic landscape through two critical streams:

💻 Graphic Design for Freelancing (Level 3): Equipping trainees to capture opportunities in global digital marketplaces, printing houses, and creative agencies.

🩺 Primary Health Care Service (Level 2): Developing vital community-based healthcare support capacities and non-clinical assistance readiness.

During the launch sessions, trainees were provided with specialized instructional learning handbooks and essential stationery kits to begin their practical, competency-based journey under the ILO-ISEC Project, funded by Global Affairs Canada.
