The Department of English, Northern University Bangladesh (EDNUB) officially kicked off the Summer 2026 semester on June 8, 2026, welcoming a vibrant new batch of brilliant minds with immense joy and academic enthusiasm.

Our freshers received a heartfelt and cordial welcome from our distinguished faculty leadership, including Prof. Md. Abdur Rashid and Mohammad Mozammel Haque, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences & Associate Professor. Also present to inspire the new students were Associate Professor Mohammad Jashim Uddin, Assistant Professor & Head Mr. Shihab Uddin Ahmad, Assistant Professor & Coordinator Md. 𝐍𝐔𝐁 𝐄𝐄𝐄 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝟗-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 Ulkasemi!

From 11 May to 21 May 2026, students from the Department of EEE, Northern University Bangladesh, successfully completed the Industrial Training Program 2026 organized by Ulkasemi. The program brought together over 90 students from 10 universities, offering them valuable exposure to the semiconductor industry and hands-on learning guided by experienced professionals.

Throughout the nine days, participants explored both technical and professional development topics highly relevant to modern electronics and chip design. Key areas included Design Verification, Analog Circuit Design, Design for Test (DFT), IC Physical Design (PnR), Foundry Technology & Design Services, IC Mask Design (Digital & Analog), as well as essential career-building sessions on CV Writing, Interview Preparation, Presentation, and Public Speaking Skills.

This training enhanced students’ understanding of industrial workflows, advanced semiconductor technologies, teamwork, and communication skills, while preparing them for future careers in VLSI and chip design. A heartfelt thanks to the trainers, organizers, and the entire Ulkasemi team for arranging such an insightful and career-focused learning experience for aspiring EEE engineers.
