আলহামদুলিল্লাহ।

কয়েকদিন আগে আমেরিকায় বসবাসরত এক বাংলাদেশি ভাইয়ের সাথে দীর্ঘ সময় কথা হচ্ছিল। কথার এক পর্যায়ে আমাদের গবেষণাগার Rufaida BioMeds-এর প্রসঙ্গ উঠে আসে।

তিনি জানালেন যে, আমাদের ল্যাব থেকে প্রকাশিত গবেষণা প্রবন্ধগুলো তিনি নিয়মিত দেখেন এবং আমাদের কাজের প্রশংসা করেন। আরও জানালেন, আমাদের ল্যাবের একজন সাবেক প্রশিক্ষণার্থী তাঁর আত্মীয়, যিনি নাকি আমাদের সম্পর্কে অত্যন্ত ইতিবাচক অভিজ্ঞতার কথা শেয়ার করেছেন।

তিনি বললেন, “আমাদের সময় এ ধরনের সুযোগ-সুবিধা ছিল না।”

আলাপচারিতায় আমরা আমাদের পথচলার নানা সংগ্রাম, সীমাবদ্ধতা এবং চ্যালেঞ্জের কথাও আলোচনা করি। বিশেষ করে শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য প্রশিক্ষণ ফি আরও কমানোর আমাদের আন্তরিক প্রচেষ্টার কথা বলি। কিন্তু একটি সম্পূর্ণ বেসরকারি উদ্যোগ পরিচালনার বাস্তব সীমাবদ্ধতার কারণে সবসময় তা সম্ভব হয়ে ওঠে না—যা আমাদেরও কষ্ট দেয়।

আমার কথা শেষ হওয়ার আগেই তিনি অত্যন্ত উদারভাবে ঘোষণা করলেন যে, তিনি ১,৫০,০০০ টাকা শিক্ষাবৃত্তি (Scholarship) হিসেবে প্রদান করতে চান।

আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, এমন সংবাদ সত্যিই আমাদের জন্য অত্যন্ত আনন্দের।

আমি প্রস্তাব দিলাম, যদি এই অর্থ প্রথম ৩০ জন শিক্ষার্থীর মধ্যে সমানভাবে বণ্টন করা যায়। তিনি সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই সম্মতি দিলেন।

সেই অনুযায়ী, Rufaida BioMeds-এর প্রথম ৩০ জন শিক্ষার্থী প্রত্যেকে ৫,০০০ টাকা করে Scholarship পাবে।

আমাদের ফেসবুক ফ্রেন্ডলিস্টে তিনি আছেন, কিন্তু তিনি নিজের নাম প্রকাশ করতে অনিচ্ছুক। তাই তাঁর ইচ্ছার প্রতি সম্মান জানিয়ে নাম উল্লেখ করছি না।

এই পোস্টের মাধ্যমে তাঁকে আবারও আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা ও অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ জানাতে চাই। আপনার এই সহযোগিতা অনেক তরুণের জন্য নতুন সম্ভাবনার দ্বার খুলে দেবে, ইনশাআল্লাহ।
