PETRICHOR is the semester-end exhibition of the First Year Design Studios (Level 1, Term 1 & Level 1, Term 2) at the Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University. It celebrates that very first encounter with architectural thinking, where observation becomes curiosity, imagination finds structure, and ideas begin to take form.

Each drawing, model, exploration, and experiment on display is more than a studio exercise. It is a record of transformation— the pleasant and lasting imprint left when the first drops of architectural knowledge meet young, creative minds.

We warmly invite students, architects, alumni, educators, artists, and everyone with a love for design to walk through this journey, engage with the work, and witness the beginning of many architectural stories yet to unfold.

The Spring 2026 Jury Week of the Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University continued with the successful completion of the final jury of Design Studio 4 (Level-2, Term-2).

Prof. Dr. Nurur Rahman Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, along with other respected faculty members of the Department of Architecture, participated in the evaluation process and enriched the students through their valuable observations, guidance, and constructive criticism.

The jury week will continue with the assessment of design excellence across different levels and terms in the coming days.

The Spring 2026 Jury week of the Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University kicked off with the final jury of the Design studio 3 (L-2, T-1). The Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology Prof. Dr. Nurur Rahman Khan along with other faculty members of the Department of Architecture were present at the evaluation and enriched the students with their valuable guidance and criticism.

The final jury will continue with the evaluation of the design excellence of different levels and terms throughout the week.
