[ইউনিভার্সিটিতে ফার্স্ট ইয়ার থেকে যেটায় ফোকাস করবেন তা হইলো কনফারেন্স। ]

দেশি, বিদেশি না। এক্ষেত্রে দরকার supervisor/একজন adviser; হতে পারে সিনিয়র বা কোনো টিচার। নতুবা হিতে বিপরিত হতে পারে। আর conference হচ্ছে রিসার্চ লাইনে ওঠার প্রাথমিক ধাপ (টুকটাক কাজ শেখা, networking, research filed সম্পর্কে জানা, পড়াশোনা শুরু করা) আমি একটা এক্সাম্পল দেই। ধরেন আমি ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল-এর স্টুডেন্ট। তো আমার ডোমেইনে কোন কোন কনফারেন্স বেস্ট? IISE, NAMRC, INFORMS। আপনি কী করবেন?

1. আপনি যেই সাবজেক্টে পড়বেন ওইটা নিয়ে ChatGPT-রে জিগাইবেন যে এই টপিকে আমি অ্যাবস্ট্রাক্ট বা পেপার লিখতে চাই, আমারে সাজেস্ট দাও। ও আপনাকে কিছু সাজেস্ট দিবে। আপনি ওই ইনফরমেশনগুলা একটা ওয়ার্ড ফাইলে কপি করবেন। তারপর ওইখান থেকে ১/২ টা টপিক নিবেন যা মন চায়। ওই টপিকের ওপর ChatGPT-রে বলবেন আমারে ৪-৫ টা রিসার্চ কোয়েশ্চেন বানায় দাও। ও আপনাকে রিসার্চ কোয়েশ্চেন বানায় দিবে। আপনি পরে ওইটা থেকে নিজের মতো করে এডিট করে ১/২ টা রিভাইজড রিসার্চ কোয়েশ্চেন বানাইবেন।

2. এর পর আপনি Perplexity-তে গিয়ে ওই রিসার্চ কোয়েশ্চেন দিয়ে বলবেন আপনাকে যাতে এই রিসার্চ কোয়েশ্চেন রিলেটেড ৭-৮ টা পেপার দেয় সামারি সহ। SciSpace-এ গিয়ে আপনি কোয়েশ্চেন করলে ও একদম টেবিল করে দিবে। আপনি ওই রেফারেন্স আর টেবিলগুলা সহ সব একটা ফাইলে কপি করবেন।

3. রেফারেন্সগুলা কপি করে ওইটার লিঙ্ক গুগল-এ সার্চ দিবেন যে এমন আসলেই পেপার আছে নাকি। যদি থাকে তাইলে আপনি ওই পেপারগুলার রেফারেন্স ইউজ করতে পারেন।

4. এরপর এই যে সামারিগুলা পাইলেন, এইগুলা পড়ে তো আপনি বুঝতে পারবেন কীভাবে রিসার্চ কোয়েশ্চেনটা অ্যাড্রেস করা যায়, তাই না?

5. এইটার ওপর বেইস করে একটা অ্যাবস্ট্রাক্ট লিখবেন, যেটা হয়তো ১৫০-২৫০ ওয়ার্ডের।

6. এরপর ওইটা ChatGPT বা Gemini-কে বলবেন যে এইটা গ্রামাটিক্যালি ঠিক করে দাও। ChatGPT ঠিক করলে ওইটা AI স্টাইল মনে হবে।

7. এরপর আপনি StealthWriter-এ আপনার অ্যাবস্ট্রাক্ট কপি করে সাবমিট করবেন আর চেক করবেন কত % AI ধরতেছে। দেন হিউম্যানাইজ করবেন নিজে লিখে।

তাইলে আপনি আপনার ফার্স্ট ইয়ার-সেকেন্ড ইয়ারে কী শিখলেন?

১. কীভাবে নানা AI টুল ইউজ করে ইনফরমেশন কালেক্ট করা যায়।
২. কীভাবে AI ইউজ করে রিসার্চ কোয়েশ্চেন ফ্রেম করা যায়।
৩. কীভাবে ওই কোয়েশ্চেন রিলেটেড পেপার বের করা যায়।
৪. কীভাবে ওইটা পড়ে সামারি করে অ্যাবস্ট্রাক্ট লেখা যায়।
৫. কীভাবে ওইটা অনলাইনে সাবমিট করা যায়।

এই প্রতিটা ধাপে আপনি নতুন নতুন জিনিস শিখবেন। যেমন করেসপন্ডিং অথর (Corresponding Author) কী, কোথায় ইমেইল আইডি দিয়ে অ্যাকাউন্ট খুলতে হবে, ORCID ID কী -এইসব নানা জিনিস।

প্রফেসরের প্রোফাইলে গিয়ে তার:

তারপর Connect বাটনে ক্লিক করে প্রফেশনালভাবে কানেকশন রিকোয়েস্ট পাঠান।

🔹 প্রফেসরের পোস্ট থেকেও সুযোগ খুঁজে দেখতে পারেন
প্রফেসরের LinkedIn প্রোফাইলে গিয়ে তার Posts বা Activity সেকশন দেখুন। অনেক সময় তারা সরাসরি পোস্ট করে জানান যে
• কোনো Master’s position খালি আছে কিনা
• কোনো PhD position ওপেন আছে কিনা
• Research Assistant বা Scholarship সংক্রান্ত সুযোগ আছে কিনা।

Steps to find scholarship positions and professors on LinkedIn:
🔹Step 1: Search based on your academic field
Type your subject in the LinkedIn search box. For example:
Professor of Dairy Nutrition, Artificial Intelligence Professor, Civil Engineering Professor, etc.

🔹Step 2: Click on the “People” option
After searching, select the People tab from the top menu so that only individual profiles are shown.

🔹Step 3: Use the Location filter
Click on Locations and choose your preferred country (e.g., Australia, Canada, UK, etc.).

🔹Step 4: Filter by specific universities
Go to Current Companies or use filters to type the name of a specific university (e.g., University of Queensland, University of Melbourne, etc.). This will help you find professors from that university.

🔹 Step 5: Review profiles and connect
Visit the professor’s profile and check:
• Research area
• Current position
• Publications / Posts
• Information about open PhD positions
# Then click the Connect button and send a professional connection request.

জরিমানা করা হয়েছে "Cambridge" কে।

ইংরেজি ভাষা পরীক্ষার প্রতিষ্ঠান কেমব্রিজ ইংলিশকে £৮৭৫,০০০ (প্রায় ১০ কোটি টাকার বেশি) জরিমানা করেছে যুক্তরাজ্যের পরীক্ষা নিয়ন্ত্রক সংস্থা Ofqual। কারণ, IELTS পরীক্ষার ফল প্রকাশে কম্পিউটারভিত্তিক মার্কিং সিস্টেমে ভুল হওয়ায় প্রায় ৬২,৭৯৪ জন পরীক্ষার্থী ভুল ফল পেয়েছিলেন।

২০২৩ সালের আগস্ট থেকে ২০২৫ সালের সেপ্টেম্বর পর্যন্ত এই ভুল চলতে থাকে। ওই সময়ে বিশ্বজুড়ে ৭.৭ মিলিয়নেরও বেশি IELTS পরীক্ষা নেওয়া হয়েছিল। তবে সমস্যাটি ধরা পড়ে ২০২৫ সালের সেপ্টেম্বরে।

কেমব্রিজ ইংলিশ ভুলের দায় স্বীকার করেছে। তারা জানিয়েছে, ফল সংশোধন, ক্ষতিপূরণ প্রদান এবং ভবিষ্যতে এমন সমস্যা ঠেকাতে নতুন ব্যবস্থা নিতে ৬ মিলিয়ন পাউন্ডের বেশি খরচ হয়েছে।

ভুল ফল পাওয়া পরীক্ষার্থীদের বেশিরভাগই ছিলেন আন্তর্জাতিক শিক্ষার্থী। পরে ফল পুনরায় যাচাই করে সংশোধন করা হয়। এর মধ্যে ২০,৬০০ জনেরও বেশি পরীক্ষার্থীর স্কোর আগের চেয়ে বেড়েছে।

ভিসা-সংক্রান্ত IELTS পরীক্ষার ১,১০৮টি ফলও এই সমস্যার মধ্যে ছিল। এর মধ্যে মাত্র ৪ জনের ক্ষেত্রে ভুল ফলাফলের কারণে ভিসা যোগ্যতা প্রভাবিত হয়েছিল। পরে তারা আবার পরীক্ষা দিয়ে প্রয়োজনীয় ফল অর্জন করেন।

IELTS কর্তৃপক্ষ এ ঘটনার জন্য দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছে। তারা জানিয়েছে, সমস্যা শনাক্ত হওয়ার পর দ্রুত ফল সংশোধন করা হয়েছে এবং ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত সবাইকে রিফান্ড বা পুনরায় পরীক্ষা দেওয়ার সুযোগ দেওয়া হয়েছে। ভবিষ্যতে এমন ভুল যেন আর না হয়, সে জন্য অতিরিক্ত নিরাপত্তা ও নিয়ন্ত্রণ ব্যবস্থা চালু করা হয়েছে।

North South University (NSU), in collaboration with the Bangladesh Society for Modeling and Simulation (BSMS), successfully organized a day-long program on simulation science and digital innovation at the NSU campus. The event brought together distinguished academics, researchers, industry professionals, and students from leading universities, organizations, and industries across Bangladesh. The program highlighted the growing importance of modeling and simulation technologies in addressing contemporary challenges in science, engineering, healthcare, industry, and digital transformation. The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Nasar U. Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor of North South University, as the Chief Guest. Special Guests included Prof. Dr. Lin Zhang, President of the Asia Simulation Federation (ASIASIM), and Prof. Dr. Jingnong Weng, Secretary General of ASIASIM, both from Beihang University, China. The day commenced with a seminar titled 'Simulation for Everything: The Future of Digital Innovation,' chaired by Prof. Dr. Shazzad Hossain, Dean of the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences (SEPS), NSU. Keynote addresses were delivered by Prof. Dr. Lin Zhang, Prof. Dr. Jingnong Weng, and Prof. Dr. Mamun Molla, Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Physics at NSU. Speakers emphasized the transformative role of simulation technologies across scientific research, engineering, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, and digital innovation. Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Nasar U. Ahmed highlighted the growing global significance of simulation-based research and reaffirmed NSU's commitment to supporting advanced research through modern laboratories, research centers, and computing facilities. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks from Prof. Dr. Mohammad Monir Uddin, Professor of Mathematics and Physics at NSU and President of BSMS. In the afternoon, researchers showcased their work during a poster presentation session focused on modeling, simulation, and digital technologies. International delegates also visited the Confucius Institute and several state-of-the-art simulation laboratories and research centers at NSU. Later, representatives from ASIASIM and BSMS met at the NSU Syndicate Hall to discuss future collaboration, research initiatives, and professional development opportunities. The program concluded with discussions on strengthening international partnerships in simulation technologies, digital innovation, and industry-academia collaboration. The successful event reinforced the growing importance of simulation technologies in shaping the future of digital innovation and highlighted the commitment of NSU and BSMS to fostering research excellence and international cooperation.
