The Codex Community Meetup, presented by Cloudly InfoTech Limited and jointly organized by the UIU Computer Club and UIU Data Science Club, brought together talented student developers to build, experiment, and innovate with AI-powered development tools.

With a prize pool and development support worth $1,400 contributed by OpenAI, the meetup recognized outstanding projects through ChatGPT Plus subscriptions, $100 Codex credits for selected teams, and $50 Codex credits for every participant—empowering all participants to continue their journey in AI-powered development.

• This is not a beginner-friendly event. The meetup is designed for junior developers who are already experimenting with AI coding agents such as Codex, Claude Code, or similar tools.

From understanding vulnerabilities to thinking like an attacker — Session 3 “Breaking Web Applications: A Hacker’s Perspective ” was an insightful dive into the world of web application security. 🌐🔐

We were honored to have Md. Gollam Rabbi, Red Team Researcher at Beetles Cyber Security Ltd., who shared practical knowledge and real-world perspectives on how web applications are compromised and how defenders can strengthen their security posture.

The session was filled with learning, curiosity, and engaging discussions among cybersecurity enthusiasts eager to explore the hacker’s perspective responsibly and ethically.
