Senior Accountant / Client Accounts Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Client Accounts Manager to manage UK client accounts, oversee compliance requirements, review accounting work, and support a team of accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong UK accounting practice experience along with excellent client management skills.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Review and finalize client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance

✅ Prepare and submit Annual Accounts to Companies House

✅ Prepare and file Corporation Tax Returns (CT600) with HMRC

✅ Oversee VAT Return preparation and submission through MTD

✅ Supervise, delegate, and review the work of junior accounting staff

✅ Manage client communications and maintain strong relationships

✅ Monitor filing deadlines and ensure timely submissions

✅ Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, HMRC regulations, and internal standards

✅ Maintain confidentiality of client financial information in line with GDPR requirements

✅ Support process improvements and team development initiatives

Requirements

🎯 ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified

🎯 Proven UK accounting practice experience

🎯 Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, Corporation Tax, and VAT regulations

🎯 Experience managing teams within an accounting practice

🎯 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

🎯 Strong client relationship and stakeholder management abilities

🎯 Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, Capium, or similar accounting software

🎯 Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple deadlines

Salary

💰 BDT 40,000 – 60,000 (Based on qualifications and experience)
