The Department of Civil Engineering successfully organized the Mental Health & Wellbeing Seminar, creating a valuable platform for students to discuss the importance of mental wellness, emotional balance, and personal growth. 🌱

We were honored to have Ms. Bilkis Khanam as our distinguished guest speaker, whose insightful session inspired students to prioritize mental health alongside academic success.

The seminar was filled with meaningful discussions, active participation, and valuable learning experiences for everyone present.

🏗️ The Department of Civil Engineering successfully conducted an industrial visit to Mawa Railway Station and Padma Bridge under the course CE-451 (Pavement Design and Railway Engineering).

👨‍🏫 The visit was carried out under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Mohammad Hannan Mahmud Khan, Head of the Department and Associate Professor, and Kazi Obaidur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering.

🚆🛣️ This academic visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to railway infrastructure, rigid and flexible pavement systems, and modern transportation engineering practices, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications.

The Department of Civil Engineering is going to organize a meaningful session focusing on students’ mental health, wellbeing, and personal development. This seminar will create an opportunity for students to learn about mental wellness, stress management, and maintaining a healthy balance in academic life. 🌱
