🌿 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 | 𝟓 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 🌍

Imagine a world where rivers no longer sing, where forests exist only in photographs, and where children learn the sound of birds from recordings rather than from the trees outside their windows.

That future is not a fantasy—it is a possibility if we fail to protect the environment that sustains us.

Before we learn to speak, we learn to breathe, and that breath comes from nature.

The story of human life begins with the environment and ends within it. Every breath we take, every drop of water we drink, and every meal we share is a reminder that our existence is deeply intertwined with the natural world.

Today, our planet faces unprecedented challenges—from pollution and deforestation to climate change and biodiversity loss. The question is no longer whether nature needs us; it is whether we can survive without nature.

This World Environment Day, let us remember: nature is not a resource to be consumed endlessly. It is a relationship to be protected.

Every plastic bottle avoided, every tree planted, every drop of water saved, and every sustainable choice made is a step toward a healthier future.

The environment is not just where life exists—it is what makes life possible.

Because the Earth can exist without us, but we cannot exist without the Earth.

As Allah says in the Quran:

This Eid, let us remember that true devotion is reflected through kindness, gratitude, and care for both people and the environment.

♻️ 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗶𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀:
• Avoid wasting food and distribute meat fairly among those in need
• Use eco-friendly bags and reduce plastic usage
• Dispose of animal waste properly to keep our surroundings clean
• Conserve water during cleaning and washing
• Keep roads, drains, and public spaces pollution-free

A cleaner environment is also a form of social responsibility.

May this Eid inspire sacrifice with purpose, generosity with dignity, and sustainability with awareness.

It is time to speak up, stand together, demand accountability, and fight for a society where safety is a right, not a privilege. Justice should never depend on power, status, or influence. USDC stands with every victim of sexual violence.
