🌍 Reflecting on an Incredible Experience at the AeHIN General Meeting 2026!

🤝 I am deeply honored and humbled to receive this Certificate of Appreciation for my role as a facilitator at the AeHIN General Meeting (GM) 2026, recently held in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event brought together global Digital Health leaders under the timely theme: "Investing in Digital Public Infrastructure and Responsible AI for People-centered Health." Securing this recognition from such an esteemed network is a true milestone in my journey as a digital health Expert. AeHIN founded to promote better health through the effective use of information communication technology (ICT), AeHIN acts as a foundational blueprint for regional collaboration for Digital Health Transformation. It connects ministries of health, digital health professionals, and academic institutions across Asia and the globe to ensure that country-level implementations are sustainable, interoperable, and strictly aligned with international standards like HL7 and FHIR.

💡 Globally, AeHIN is a powerhouse in driving the digital health agenda forward through below core pillars:

Building: Developing the next generation of health informaticians by establishing peer-to-peer learning networks, training labs, and professional development programs.

Health Research: Spearheading research that contextualizes cutting-edge advancements—such as Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and multimodal machine learning models—for low- and middle-income countries.

Workshops: Bridging the gap between tech developers, healthcare providers, and policymakers through collaborative workshops designed to break down system silos and establish robust data governance frameworks.

✨ Participating in the AeHIN GM 2026 in Jakarta was an absolute privilege. AeHIN is truly a big, passionate family dedicated to collective progress. Serving as a facilitator allowed me to actively contribute to the dialogue surrounding National Digital Health Architecture Blueprint, digital public infrastructure, and the ethical deployment of AI in public health settings.

🚀 I highly encourage my fellow researchers, students, and digital health professionals to actively engage with AeHIN's upcoming initiatives and AeHIN Webinars. By participating in these global meetings, you don't just gain a network or a certificate of appreciation—you gain a seat at the table where the future of national and global patient-centered digital health is actively being written.

🏆 A special thanks to Dr. Boonchai Kijsanayotin, Dr. Alvin Marcelo, Mr. Jai Ganesh Udayasankaran, and the entire AeHIN secretariat,The World Bank as well as the co-hosts and partners for organizing such an impactful event. Let's keep building scalable, interconnected health systems together!

🎉 Proud to have completed the WHO SMART Guidelines Training Curriculum as part of the inaugural pilot cohort! 🎓

🙌 First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN) for nominating me and opening the door to this remarkable learning opportunity."

💎Over 4.5 weeks (February 24 – March 26, 2026), I joined 42 digital health professionals from 18 countries across Asia and Africa to deepen our understanding of how WHO's SMART Guidelines framework can transform health systems through standardized, interoperable digital health tools.

🤝 The curriculum covered critical ground across 8 modules — from SMART Guideline governance and readiness assessment, to developing national roadmaps, adapting Digital Adaptation Kits (DAKs), implementing FHIR-based standards, and leading change management in health organizations.

✍️ This training was co-organized by WHO and the Digital Initiatives Group (DIGI) at the University of Washington, in partnership with AeHIN, HELINA, and GIZ — a truly global collaboration to build sustainable digital health capacity in low- and middle-income countries.

👏 I finished as a standout performer on the leaderboard in the WHO SMART Guidelines pilot training. The certificate I received reflects not just completion but strong commitment for future contribution."

💡 As a Digital Health professional based in Bangladesh, I'm motivated to apply this knowledge to help advance SMART Guidelines implementation — bridging global standards with local health system needs.

🚀 The future of digital health is interoperable, standards-based, and people-centered. SMART Guidelines are a key part of making that vision a reality.
