রনি খানের বাবা দীর্ঘদিন ধরে গুরুতর হৃদরোগ, হার্টের ভাল্বের জটিলতা, হার্ট ব্লক, ব্রেইন স্ট্রোক এবং ব্রেইন হেমোরেজসহ বিভিন্ন জটিল রোগে ভুগছেন।

২০০৩ সালে প্রথম ওপেন হার্ট সার্জারির মাধ্যমে হার্টের ভাল্ব প্রতিস্থাপন করা হয়। পরবর্তীতে ২০২১ সালে জটিলতা বৃদ্ধি পায় এবং ২০২৫ সালে পুনরায় হার্ট অ্যাটাকের পর দ্বিতীয়বার ওপেন হার্ট সার্জারি করতে হয়। অপারেশনের মাত্র ১৫ দিন পর ব্রেইন হেমোরেজ হওয়ায় জরুরি ব্রেইন অপারেশনও সম্পন্ন করা হয়।

শুধুমাত্র চলতি বছরেই চিকিৎসার পেছনে প্রায় ১৫–২০ লক্ষ টাকার বেশি ব্যয় হয়েছে। ভিটাবাড়ির জমি বিক্রি করেও পরিবারের পক্ষে চিকিৎসার ব্যয় বহন করা অত্যন্ত কঠিন হয়ে পড়েছে।
