This year, Year 9 students have read an impressive 48,799,751 words, demonstrating resilience, dedication and a genuine commitment to developing their literacy skills.

As they prepare to begin their IGCSE courses, these students can take pride in the strong foundations they have built through reading. Their hard work and consistency will serve them well as they embark on the next stage of their academic journey.

Miss Savage and Mrs Hearn were delighted to celebrate their achievements and recognise the positive example they have set for their peers.

Be inspired by books! Children created fun, found poetry in the library . They used the titles of books to make marvellous book spine poems. The best bit, reading their poetry aloud!
