Euro University of Bahrain signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CazaSouq to strengthen the gaming and esports ecosystem on campus and create new opportunities for collaboration, events and youth engagement.

The partnership will explore a range of initiatives, including support for gaming and esports activities and events, the development of dedicated gaming spaces and setups on campus, internship opportunities for students, and the delivery of interactive experiences that help students develop relevant skills and connect with the rapidly growing gaming and esports industry.

Both parties emphasized the importance of empowering young people through technology and innovation, encouraging engagement within gaming and esports communities, and creating opportunities that combine learning, creativity and real-world experiences to prepare students for future opportunities in the sector.

‎وقّعت الجامعة الأوروبية في البحرين مذكرة تفاهم مع CazaSouq بهدف تعزيز منظومة الألعاب والرياضات الإلكترونية في الجامعة، وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون في المبادرات والفعاليات والفرص الموجهة للشباب.

‎وستشمل الشراكة مجالات متعددة، منها دعم وتنظيم فعاليات الألعاب والرياضات الإلكترونية، واستكشاف فرص توفير وتجهيز مساحات ومرافق مخصصة للألعاب داخل الحرم الجامعي، إلى جانب توفير فرص تدريبية للطلبة، وتقديم تجارب وأنشطة تفاعلية تسهم في تطوير مهاراتهم وربطهم بقطاع الألعاب والرياضات الإلكترونية المتنامي.

‎وأكد الطرفان أهمية تمكين الشباب من خلال التكنولوجيا والابتكار، وتعزيز المشاركة في مجتمعات الألعاب والرياضات الإلكترونية، وخلق بيئة تفاعلية تجمع بين التعلم والإبداع والتجارب العملية، بما يسهم في إعداد الطلبة للفرص المستقبلية في هذا القطاع الحيوي.

استقبل السيد محمد جلال الوزان، رئيس جهاز الكرة الطائرة بنادي المحرق، وفداً من الجامعة الأوروبية في البحرين برئاسة السيد سلمان أحمد الجناحي، الرئيس التنفيذي للعمليات، وذلك بمناسبة تتويج الفريق الأول للكرة الطائرة بالنادي ببطولة كأس سمو ولي العهد للمرة الخامسة عشرة في تاريخه.

وخلال الزيارة، جرى تبادل التهاني والتبريكات بهذه المناسبة الرياضية المتميزة، والإشادة بالجهود الكبيرة التي بذلها الفريق طوال الموسم، والتي تُوجت بإحراز هذا اللقب الغالي، تأكيداً على المكانة العريقة التي يحظى بها نادي المحرق وسجله الحافل بالإنجازات والبطولات.

كما أعرب نادي المحرق عن تقديرهم للدور الذي تقوم به الجامعة الأوروبية في البحرين من خلال رعايتها ودعمها لفريق كرة الطائرة بالنادي، مؤكدين أهمية هذا الدعم في تعزيز مسيرة الفريق ومواصلة تحقيق النجاحات.

من جانبها، أعربت الجامعة الأوروبية في البحرين عن اعتزازها بدعم فريق كرة الطائرة بنادي المحرق، مهنئةً إدارة النادي والجهازين الفني والإداري واللاعبين وجماهير النادي بهذا الإنجاز المستحق، ومتمنيةً لهم دوام التوفيق وتحقيق المزيد من البطولات والنجاحات في المستقبل.
