At St. David's Preschool during our Exercise Study, Coach Z led a fun and energetic preschool exercise class that kept everyone moving and smiling! The class began with warm-up stretches to loosen up little muscles and get bodies ready for action.

Next, the children teamed up with partners for an exciting resistance band race, practicing teamwork, balance, and coordination while cheering each other on.

After the race, the kids tackled a fun obstacle course filled with jumping, running, and hopping challenges that encouraged confidence and active play. To finish the class, everyone enjoyed a peaceful cool-down with gentle stretches and deep breaths, helping the children relax after their busy workout adventure. Thanks Coach Z for coming and showing us that exercise is fun!

At St. David's Preschool, families enjoyed a special Muffins with Moms breakfast celebration filled with love and smiles.

The children were excited to welcome their moms to school for a morning of delicious muffins, juice, and time together. Laughter and conversation filled the rooms as everyone shared breakfast and enjoyed the warm community atmosphere.

The highlight of the event was when the children proudly presented their handmade Mother’s Day gifts to their moms, creating many sweet and memorable moments that made the morning extra special.

Culture is caught, but it is also taught. πŸ‡§πŸ‡²βœ¨πŸŽ¨

This week is International Culture and Art Education Week, a global UNESCO initiative highlighting how heritage, identity, and creative expression form a well-rounded education.

Think back to last Friday’s incredible Bermuda Day celebrations. The electrifying drumlines, the dazzling majorettes, the iconic Gombey troupes, the dancers, and the intricate floats didn’t happen by chance. Behind every single handmade costume and choreographed step is a foundation built on learning, mentorship, and deep-rooted arts education. πŸ₯πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸŽ¨

To ensure these traditions continue to flourish, we must invest in our young creatives.

Join us as we close out the season with the grand finale of the Spring Into the Arts Showcase! Come witness the incredible talent of our public school students and help us celebrate the dedicated arts educators who nurture their imagination every day.

πŸ—“οΈ Date: Thursday, May 28, 2026

Let’s pack the auditorium and celebrate the rhythm, color, and spirit of our community! πŸ‘‡πŸ‡§πŸ‡²

St. David’s Primary: Shining stars! ✨

P5 & P6 students Mari Whyte, Michael Thompson, Elijah Russell, and Nhasyr Paynter shine in photos from our unforgettable field trip to the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences in St. George’s on 05/05/2026. They dove into circuits and robotics.

Every student was fully engaged as they:

β€’ Built working circuits with wires, switches, bulbs (and Play‑Doh!)

β€’ Piloted ROVs to retrieve rings

A hands-on, curiosity-sparking day that brought science and technology to life through teamwork and discovery! πŸŒŠπŸ€–πŸ”¬

Autism Awareness Month (April) was amazing, but at West Pembroke School, inclusion is a year-round commitment! 🌈✨

We’re looking back at a month filled with neurodiversity pride, classroom readings, and one very competitive Kindness Challenge (shoutout to our pizza party winners! πŸ•).

But West Pembroke isn't stopping there.

As we move into May, autism classrooms are preparing to host a special Sensory Experience Lab. This gives our entire school the chance to step into the shoes of their peers and understand how different sensory profiles experience the world.

Inclusion isn’t a buzzword here - it’s how we grow. πŸ’™
