On Thursday, June 18th, the prestigious Denton Hurdle Award Ceremony took place, honoring student-athletes across Primary, Middle, and High School levels who embody the exceptional character and athletic excellence of Denton Hurdle.

The boys played well in yesterday’s highly competitive BSSF Middle School Softball tournament. The boys just missed out on making it to the finals by losing a tight contest with Whitney Institute. All of the boys should be congratulated for their efforts in hot and humid conditions.

What an amazing time at yesterday’s BSSF Middle School Softball Competition!

Our girls battled their way to an incredible 2nd place finish after a hard-fought final against Warwick Academy. We held Warwick through the first two innings and built an impressive 5-run lead, but Warwick fought back to take the championship 13-10 in the last inning. We couldn’t be prouder of the determination, teamwork, and heart our team showed from start to finish.

The future is bright for this talented group of Saltus Knights!

On Thursday, 11 June, the BSSF Middle School Tennis Tournament was held at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium. With only two schools participating, the event provided students with a valuable opportunity to develop their match-play experience, refine their skills, and become more familiar with tournament scoring and competition formats.

The tournament began with singles matches, Trystan T. won Gold in the Middle Boys O13 competition before moving into doubles competitions. In the Over-13 Boys Doubles category, Trystan T. and Ollie A. delivered an impressive performance to secure the gold medal.

The girls' competition was adapted into a round-robin format, allowing every player the opportunity to compete against one another. Competing in the for U13 Girls were Taylor K. and Violet L. Our O13 competitors were Annie B. , Hannah G., and Holly L.

Although the girls played with determination and produced several exciting rallies, they narrowly missed out on podium finishes this time. Congratulations to Annie B. who placed 5th overall.

It was encouraging to see the significant improvement shown by the players over the course of a single day of competition. The tournament highlighted the depth of young tennis talent that exists on the island, providing a positive outlook for the future of the sport.

Congratulations to our 2026–27 House Captains. We look forward to seeing the leadership, spirit, and sense of community they will bring to their Houses and to Saltus in the year ahead.

Congratulations to Saltus musicians Dylan J. (Class of 2026), Euan F. (Grade 9), and Oliver L. (Grade 10) on their outstanding achievements in the Menuhin Foundation’s 2026 Scholarship Competition .

Dylan earned a tie for second place among Bermuda’s top young string musicians, while Euan and Oliver were recognized with Honourable Mentions for their performances. Their accomplishments reflect countless hours of dedication, perseverance, and a passion for musical excellence.

We are proud to celebrate these talented students and look forward to seeing them continue to grow as musicians and performers.

Congratulations to Saltus SGY1 student, Johnny B. who has earned himself a spot in the Ontario Men's Amateur Golf Championship.

Due to his strong performance earlier this week, he has now secured spots to compete in both the Ontario Junior Boys Amateur Championship to be held at Sawmill Golf Course in Fenwick, Ontario from June 29 to July 2, and the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship taking place at the Otter Creek Golf Club from July 6 to 9.
