It was a pleasure catching up with David Parker of the Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA), James Robinson, Founder of Cactus, and James Johnson, Chief Environmental Health Officer with the Bermuda Government, at ABIC member Corporate Concierge's Summer Soirée at Rosewood Bermuda.

The evening provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues from across Bermuda's business community, exchange ideas, and strengthen the relationships that help support Bermuda's continued success as a leading international business jurisdiction.

ABIC is pleased to welcome Desmond Crockwell to the team through the Department of Workforce Development's Summer Employment Program!

Desmond joined us for his first day today and is already settling in well. Over the coming weeks, he will have the opportunity to gain valuable insight into Bermuda's international business sector, develop new skills, and learn more about the work ABIC does to support the industry and Bermuda's future workforce.

We look forward to having Desmond with us this summer and wish him every success as he begins this exciting journey.

The discussion highlighted key legal developments shaping the insurance and reinsurance landscape and provided valuable perspectives on how these changes may influence claims management and market practices in Bermuda. Events like these play an important role in fostering knowledge-sharing and keeping our industry informed and prepared.

In early and ready to work! Camaje Easton-Smith (ABIC Scholar & Intern) and Christopher Anderson (Sandys Secondary Middle School) starting Friday strong. Between learning about Bermuda's international business sector and a quick geography lesson at the office map, it's already been a productive morning.
