Brazil isn’t just famous for coffee… it lives coffee. ☕🇧🇷
While many think Brazil drinks more coffee than anyone else, the truth is just as impressive: it’s the #2 largest coffee consumer in the world, right behind the U.S.—and the #1 producer, responsible for about 40% of global coffee.
And guess what? A huge part of that coffee stays right here.
Here’s what makes Brazil a true coffee nation:
☕ Over 24 million bags consumed in 2023
☕ 3–4 cups per day per person
☕ Coffee = the 2nd most consumed drink (only behind water!)
From a quick pingado in the morning…
to long conversations over a fresh cup…
coffee is part of everyday life in Brazil.
And it’s evolving too—more and more Brazilians are falling in love with specialty and gourmet coffee.
So if you want to understand Brazil…
don’t start with Portuguese.
Start with coffee. ☕😉
