Cleveland Harrington Reeves, civil servant and educator, was born on 16 April, 1889 at Arthur's Town, Cat Island to Commissioner Mr. He was educated at the Boys Central School in Nassau, and at the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. Today, the Student Christian Movement (SCM) put faith into action by making meaningful donations to both the Colby Home for Boys and the Bahamas Children’s Hostel.
Our students showed incredible heart and community spirit, reminding us all of the power of giving back. A special thank you to our dedicated club coordinators who guided the students in this noble effort:

The Raptors have soared to the absolute top of the nation! We are thrilled to celebrate the phenomenal success of our students and teachers at the prestigious Templeton Laws of Life Essay Competition.
Out against a massive field of 1,500 entries from across the country, our very own Pancho Gomez of 9C guided by Mrs. Bain, captured 1st Place in the Junior Division! But the victory didn't stop there, Pancho’s essay earned the highest score in the entire country, beating out all divisions to claim the ultimate top spot. For this historic achievement, Pancho walks away with a well-deserved scholarship and a $500.00 personal cheque!
We also extend a massive congratulations to Ms. M. Farrington and her brilliant student, Tamia Deleveaux, who earned an Honorable Mention and stood tall as a national finalist!
To top off this incredible sweep, the entire Language Arts Department has been awarded a special cash prize for outstanding performance.

Today, we said a heartfelt farewell to our wonderful 9th-grade students, the Class of 2026. We wish each of them the absolute best in all their future endeavors. A huge kudos and thank you to our dedicated Prize Giving Committee for organizing such a beautiful ceremony!
