A Day to Remember, A Victory to Cherish!!!!

As we joined the nation in celebrating the Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen, our hearts were filled with joy and pride as our students represented Kharsa Primary School at the cultural competition organized by the Wangduecholing Palace Museum and Cultural Centre.

The day became even more memorable when our talented children achieved an extraordinary feat—winning First Place in Zhungdra, Boedra, Rigsar, and the Overall Champion School.

This achievement is not merely about trophies, certificates, and cash prizes. It is a reflection of countless hours of practice, teamwork, commitment, and the determination of our young performers. Their success is a testament to what can be achieved when students, teachers, parents, and the community work together toward a common goal.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our Principal for guiding us, Cultural In-charge for coordinating, our two TP teachers for their energy, creativity, and hard work and every staff member who added their own unique spices to
transformed every rehearsal into a masterpiece!

We are equally grateful to our parents and the communities of Kharsa, Thangbi, and Goling, who stood beside us throughout the journey.
Your encouragement, presence, and unwavering support gave our children the confidence to shine on stage.

The celebrations did not end at the competition venue. The joyous homecoming was marked by warm receptions, cakes, refreshments, laughter, and shared happiness.

The festivities continued with a grand reception at the school, complete with cakes and refreshments generously provided by the school and parents.

To our dear students: You danced with grace, confidence, and pride. You carried not only your school's name but also the rich cultural heritage of our nation. You have made us all proud.

Finally, our sincere appreciation to Wangduechhoeling Palace Museum and Cultural Centre - WPMCC and the Dzongkhag Education Office Bumthang Sherig for creating such meaningful opportunities for our children to learn, celebrate, and excel.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Mr. Thegchog Dorji, Program Coordinator, for organizing a wonderful guided tour of the museum, allowing our students to learn and appreciate the rich history and cultural heritage preserved there.

We offer our sincere gratitude to Rigtong Lama and his disciples for their blessings and generous cash contribution as a token of appreciation for our children's hard work and achievement. Your kindness added even more joy to this memorable occasion.

We kicked off the day with an important awareness session for our students, tackling menstrual hygiene and breaking down the stigma around it.

To celebrate, our Principal and male staff hosted and surprised our female staff and girl students with a lovely cake-cutting ceremony to thank them for their strength.
Ending the day with an evening futsal match was the perfect cherry on top!

A massive thank you to our dear colleague Dechen Norbu and his wife for hosting an incredibly delicious dinner for all the staff and our families!

A huge, heartfelt thank you to the Principal and teachers of Wangduechhoing Lower Secondary school for their incredibly kind donation of sanitary pads to our school!

We are immensely proud to announce that our Officiating Principal has successfully completed the School Leaders Development Program (SLDP), 15th Batch, at the Royal Institute for Governance and Strategic Studies (RIGSS) in Phuntsholing.

The rigorous training at RIGSS is a testament to Sir's commitment to lifelong learning and visionary leadership. We look forward to the new perspectives and innovative strategies to further enhance our educational standards.

We are delighted to welcome two teacher trainees, Ms.Karma Sonam Choden and Ms. Dorji Wangmo, to the Kharsa Primary School family for their Teaching Practice from Paro College of Education.

From the very first day, Ms. Karma Sonam Choden has shown great love and enthusiasm for teaching and working with children, actively engaging in various school activities.
Ms. Dorji Wangmo recently joined us after her impressive run in the Rangi Ngotak program(The educational Reality show) Season 3, where she emerged as the winner and we look forward to her sharing the valuable experiences from the program with the KPS family.

We believe both of them will be a great asset to the KPS family, contributing to the development of our children and the school as a whole during their stay. We wish them a meaningful and enriching teaching practice with us.

On the joyous Birth Anniversary of our beloved King, Kharsa Primary School family offers our heartfelt prayers and warmest wishes.

We proudly celebrated the Graduation Ceremony of our Class VI students of 2025. It was a memorable and emotional occasion as we bid farewell to our young graduates who have successfully completed their primary education journey at Kharsa Primary School.

The ceremony was filled with joy, gratitude, and pride. Our graduates walked with confidence, carrying beautiful memories, strong values, and the lessons they have learned over the years. Though it was a goodbye to their primary school days, it is also the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in their lives.
