The school would like to express its sincere thanks to Mr. Jamyang Choedrup and Mrs. Pema Lhamo Tshering for their generous donation of five books to our school library. Their contribution will provide our students with valuable opportunities to enhance their knowledge, broaden their imagination, and develop a lifelong love for reading.

Furthermore, these books will support the school's efforts to strengthen a culture of reading and contribute, in a small yet meaningful way, to the implementation of the DIBELS reading program adopted by schools across Paro Dzongkhag. Access to quality reading materials is essential in helping students achieve reading fluency and literacy goals.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Jamyang Choedrup and Mrs. Pema Lhamo Tshering for their kindness and support. The school also would like to thank the ADM Assistant, Madam Kinley for this initiative looking at the larger benefit of our students.

The Principal conducted an orientation for all staff on the new SPMS parameters and indicators, with a focus on the following key areas:

Leadership and Management
School Environment (Physical and Psychosocial)

Through this mentoring-oriented program, the Principal enhanced staff understanding of the SPMS parameters and indicators. The session provided valuable guidance and served as a roadmap for effective school functioning, enabling staff to align their roles and responsibilities with the school's goals and performance expectations.

Woochu Lower Secondary School celebrated the International Day of Play with great enthusiasm and joy under the theme “Protect Play, Protect Childhood.” Students actively participated in a variety of fun-filled games ⛹🏼‍♂️ and engaging activities that fostered teamwork, creativity, sportsmanship, and physical fitness 🏋🏻‍♀️.

Teachers and students joined together in the celebration, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere. The event highlighted the vital role of play in children's learning, development, and overall well-being.

The celebration served as a reminder that play is not only a source of enjoyment but also an essential part of a child's growth and education.

One teacher and 20 students proudly participated in the 19th Coronation Marathon and successfully completed the race, demonstrating that true success is built on endurance, determination, and the courage to persevere. As the saying goes, “A marathon is not about being the fastest; it is about having the strength to keep moving forward.”

Yesterday, we bid a farewell to one of our senior teacher, who served our school for 18 years out of her remarkable 32 years and 10 months of dedicated service, as well as our beloved B.Ed. trainees from Samtse and Paro Colleges of Education, who have been part of our school family for the past six months.

We sincerely thank each of you for your dedication, hard work, and the care and support you provided to our students. Your contributions and presence have made a positive impact and will always be remembered.

Madam Zomba has been an inspiration and an icon to countless individuals throughout her remarkable 32 years 10 Months of service as a teacher. Her commitment to their service was always centered on the well-being and success of her students and the institution.

The news of her service separation was a great loss, not only to the institution but also to the young learners whose lives she has touched and transformed. She has been a motherly figure to many, guiding students with a pure heart, kindness, and compassion.

Her character reflects the finest human values, making her a role model whom many aspire to emulate. Over the course of her distinguished career, she has nurtured and shaped the futures of numerous doctors, engineers, teachers, and professionals from various fields.

Your exemplary conduct as a senior teacher will remain in our hearts and memories for years to come. We are deeply grateful for your invaluable contributions and unwavering dedication.
