Dear Parents and Guardians,

Following the earthquake tremors felt across the region tonight, the Management of Tenzin Academy would like to reassure all parents that all our hostel students are safe, sound and completely unharmed.

Our hostel wardens, matrons and campus staff acted swiftly according to our safety protocols. All students were safely evacuated to the open ground, roll calls have been completed and everyone is accounted for. There is absolutely no damage to the hostel buildings or campus infrastructure.

Our staff is staying up to monitor the situation and ensure the children remain calm and comfortable. Please do not panic; your children are in safe hands and are currently resting.

Prayers for everyone's safety across the nation. 💛

Today, the management, staff and students of Tenzin Academy come together with immense love and reverence to celebrate the 36th Birth Anniversary of our beloved Queen, Her Majesty Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck.

Her Majesty remains a beacon of grace, humility and leadership for our young generation. We pray to the Triple Gem for Her Majesty’s long life, ultimate happiness, and fulfilling health.

A successful day of collaboration. Today, Tenzin Academy hosted our Parent-Teacher Meeting for the Academic Year 2026. It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss student progress following the announcement of the Block Test results. We are grateful to all the parents who joined us to support their children's academic journey. Together, we are building a brighter future.

In a momentous highlight of our Teachers' Day celebrations, the school management honoured our teachers with the certificates and cash prizes for achieving Academic Excellence in National Ranking , Mean marks and 100% pass result in Class 10 and 12 BCSEA examinations, 2025. This prestigious recognition serves as a testament to the hard work, perseverance and intellectual curiosity of our students as well as the unwavering support provided by their teachers and families. Seeing our students excel on a national stage brings immense pride to the entire Tenzin Academy community and reinforces our commitment to academic rigor and holistic development. Yesterday, the halls of Tenzin Academy were filled with profound gratitude and joy as we celebrated Teachers' Day, a beautiful tribute coinciding with the birth anniversary of the Third Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.

Just as the "Father of Modern Bhutan" laid the foundation for our nation’s progress, our dedicated educators work tirelessly to shape the minds and futures of our students.
