For the smooth and successful conduct of the midterm examinations, our school, led by Mr. Ugyen Thinley, hoisted prayer flags and offered prayers, seeking blessings for wisdom, concentration, and success for all students and teachers. May these sacred prayers bring positive energy, peace of mind, and excellent outcomes throughout the examination period.

To observe the International Day of Play, our school organized a variety of fun games and aerobics activities. The event was celebrated under the theme “Protect Play, Protect Childhood.” Students enthusiastically participated in the activities and thoroughly enjoyed the day, which provided a refreshing break and helped relieve stress as examinations draw near.

Coinciding with the coronation of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, we celebrated Social Forestry Day. The day highlighted the importance of protecting nature and promoting plantation.
As a tribute, we planted trees around our school campus to contribute towards a greener and healthier environment.

To observe the parinirvana of Lord Buddha, also known as Due Chen Nga Zom, our school organized prayers and offered butter lamps and offerings with great devotion.
Students also watched animated clips about the 12 great acts of Lord Buddha to learn more about his life, teachings, and journey toward enlightenment.
The program helped students understand the importance of compassion, wisdom, and peace in our daily lives.

Today in our school, we celebrated 𝓜𝓮𝓷𝓢𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓪𝓵 𝓗𝔂𝓰𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓮 𝓓𝓪𝔂 on theme ‘𝓣𝓸𝓰𝓮𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓸𝓭 𝓯𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓵𝔂 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭.’ The health coordinators conducted an awareness programme to educate students about menstrual hygiene and to break the taboos and misconceptions surrounding menstruation.

This day is important because it helps create awareness that menstruation is a natural and healthy process experienced by girls and women. It encourages everyone to speak openly without shame or embarrassment and promotes proper hygiene practices to ensure good health and well-being.

Through such awareness programmes, students learn the importance of respect, support, and understanding towards one another. Celebrating this day also helps build confidence among girls and creates a safe and inclusive school environment for all.
