Activity Name: Seed Filling Race
The Seed Filling Race is an exciting activity where children take turns putting seeds into a bottle one by one as quickly and carefully as possible. This game helps children develop fine motor skills by encouraging them to grasp and place small seeds accurately. It improves hand-eye coordination, concentration, and patience as children focus on getting the seeds into the bottle opening. The activity also promotes turn-taking, teamwork, and healthy competition among children. Through this game, children learn to follow instructions, wait for their turn, and build confidence while having fun. It is an engaging way to support children's physical, cognitive, and social development.

Today we successfully conducted our second parenting session on empowering parents to keep children safe, protected, and nurtured through positive childrearing practices using traditional arts and spiritual values. The session highlighted the importance of creating a loving, secure, and culturally rooted environment for children’s healthy growth and development.
We discussed ways parents can:
* Promote children’s safety and emotional well-being at home and in the community.
* Guide children with care, patience, and positive discipline.
* Use traditional arts, stories, songs, and spiritual practices to strengthen children’s values, identity, and sense of belonging.
* Build strong parent-child relationships through love, communication, and shared cultural experiences.
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents for your active participation, valuable sharing, and continuous support throughout the session. Your involvement and commitment truly make a positive difference in children’s lives.
We would also like to sincerely thank the parents for generously serving lunch today. Your kindness, cooperation, and support are deeply appreciated.

Parenting education empowering parents on understanding how to support their children’s growth, learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being. It teaches positive parenting skills such as communication, guidance, discipline, and problem-solving. Parenting education also helps parents build strong relationships with their children, create a safe and supportive home environment, and respond to children’s needs in healthy ways. As a result, children are more likely to develop confidence, good behaviour, social skills, and emotional security.

Teaching children to segregate biodegradable (organic/compostable) and non-biodegradable (recyclable/inorganic) waste is crucial for environmental protection, reducing landfill waste, and fostering lifelong sustainability habits. It enables composting, prevents pollution, protects natural resources, and turns kids into change-makers who often educate their households.
