BA ISAGO University was honoured to host the Minister of Higher Education Honourable Prince Maele, at its Gaborone Campus. The Minister visited with a distinguished delegation of fifteen government officials from the Ministry, including the Permanent Secretary Prof Richard Tabulawa, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Higher Education and Training Ms Yolinda Baletloa and Mr Tefo Moremi from the Ministry's Transformation Office.

In his speech, the Honourable Minister commended BA ISAGO and its leadership for delivering high-quality and relevant academic programmes. He expressed particular satisfaction with the University's high student enrolment numbers as well as graduate employability outcomes, citing the tracer study findings that indicate a high graduate absorption rate into employment.

The day concluded on a positive and inspiring note, with the Ministry delegation expressing confidence that the University is moving in the right direction towards advancing higher education and aligning skills development with the national transformation strategy.

We are honored to welcome Dr Joseph Tsonope (PhD), Chancellor of BA ISAGO University, to deliver the keynote address.

Dr Tsonope brings a unique, multidisciplinary perspective to the AI conversation. An accomplished academic, corporate governance expert and seasoned parastatal chairman, his background beautifully bridges the humanities and advanced computing. With a PhD in Linguistics and extensive expertise spanning computer programming languages (including Python and C++), Linux open software development, and Artificial Intelligence technologies, he is uniquely positioned to address how localized context, language and structural policy pillars intersect with emerging AI frameworks.
