🌾 Celebrating Letlhafula Day at Kessy Daycare Center

​There is nothing quite like the joy of the harvest season. Today, our little stars at Kessy Daycare Center stepped away from the books and into the vibrant traditions of Botswana as we celebrated Letlhafula Day.
​From the books to the sweet taste of fresh legapu (watermelon) and nche (sweet reed), it has been a day filled with culture, laughter, and learning.

​Highlights of our Harvest Celebration: ✅️

​🥣 Traditional Feasting: We enjoyed healthy, homegrown treats like bogobe jwa lerotse and dikgobe.
​🎶 Song & Dance: Our children showcased their best traditional moves and learned the stories of our ancestors.
​✨ Heritage in Motion: Seeing the next generation embrace our customs with such pride and big smiles.

​Teaching our children where they come from is just as important as where they are going. We are so proud to raise "cultural ambassadors" here at Kessy Daycare.

We had an incredible time celebrating our amazing graduates at our combined Graduation and Christmas Party. Watching our little stars shine as they received their certificates was truly heartwarming.
