Hey Panthers! As we head into grad season, we want to take a moment to remind everyone about safe driving in and around our campus (and across all Abbotsford School District sites.)
Unsafe or reckless driving at any school location may result in the loss of on‑campus parking privileges at Abby Senior. Grads who are reported for unsafe driving risk having car parade and prom privileges revoked.
We’re grateful for our awesome Abbotsford Police Department school liaison officers, including our own Cst. Dyck, who work hard to keep our school communities safe and to keep the conversation about responsible driving going.
Let’s look out for one another and make this grad season a safe one for all.

Introducing our Valedictorian for the 2026 Grad Class: Kate P and our Grad Speaker: Alamvir D.
Kate is our top academic student for grad 2026. An International Baccalaureate Diploma student, Kate consistently achieved high academic marks throughout her grade 11 and grade 12 years, is involved in our award winning Drumline program, and is enrolled in our media broadcasting program, where she continues to impress us with both work habits and dedication, producing strong broadcasting projects. Her teachers describe her as an enthusiastic student, eager to learn and share her learning with others around her. We’re looking forward to hearing Kate’s valedictorian speech at our convocation ceremonies in June.
Alamvir, also in the IB Diploma programme, has been described by his peers and teachers as kind hearted, funny, extremely personable, and passionate about the world as well as being very engaged in the school community with band, debate club, Model UN, and the World Scholars Cup. Alamvir is known to be a captivating speaker, and we look forward to hearing his words as he speaks on behalf of the grad class at Convocation!
Congratulations Kate and Alamvir!

"The weaving I first learned at school expanded over the years to include cedar weaving, cardboard looms, and Salish, Cowichan, and Squamish design patterns. As my skills grew, I began sharing my knowledge with others and engaging with Elders at community events to strengthen my role as a young cultural leader."
