Despite the windy and cloudy weather we had such a wonderful and fun filled time yesterday at our pop up music class in the park to raise funds for Mamas for Mamas Calgary ! Thank you to everyone who came out to support and make music together, we truly have such a wonderful and caring community ❤️

The Butterly Song 🦋 is such a fun way to teach little ones about the life cycle of butterflies! It is sung to the tune of “Up on the Housetop”. The actions are also so cute and memorable to help kids remember the stages of egg 🥚to caterpillar 🐛 to chrysalis🍃 and butterfly 🦋

Come join us for music in the park in June! 🌸🌻 in support of .calgary
I’m excited to invite you all to our pop up music classes for littles and their families on Wednesday June 10 and 17th at 10:30 AM. These outdoor classes are always so much fun and a great way to kick off the summer vibes ☀️
These classes are pay what you want with a suggested minimum donation of $10. All proceeds will be donated to Mamas for Mamas to help families in need in Calgary 💕

This fun song I think is originally called “The Colour I See” 👀 but these preschoolers called it the “Colour Dance Song” 💃 which I prefer a lot more! We sang it using coloured scarves but you can sing it based on the colour of clothing children are wearing as well. 🌈
It is such a fun way to practice colour identification and also following gross motor instructions!
Lyrics:
Purple, purple is the colour I see
If you have purple please show it to me
Stand up, turn around
Jump up high and sit back down!
Replace purple with red, green, blue or whatever colour you are using in your group or classroom!
