Bug and Meadow soup
A structured yet open-ended cooking activity where children follow illustrated recipes to create different bug soups.
The use of "recipes" turns play into a learning opportunity, encouraging children to practice counting, sorting by color, following directions, and refining fine motor skills as they scoop and mix.
It is a perfect example of tactile play that encourages both imaginative storytelling and quiet, focused exploration.

Exploring the world of insects:
Our recent insect-themed play provided a rich, hands-on environment where early literacy, mathematics, and sensory exploration came together naturally. Through a series of multi-sensory invitations, the children deeply engaged with language and STEM concepts in a meaningful, context-driven way.

Little Chefs: From Fine Motor Skills to Sensory Salads!
Today was a wonderful day of discovery as our little explorers transformed simple kitchen scraps into a sensory masterpiece! We began indoors by honing fine motor skills, using safety scissors to carefully chop fruit peels and scraps.
The fun then moved outside to our sensory water station, where the children embraced their roles as "little chefs" to mix their clippings with dandelions and grass. It was a fantastic session of imaginative play and hands-on exploration that turned a "garden feast" into a rich learning experience!

In our space story, the children launched a shuttle by counting together and sent astronauts to the moon. The astronauts used rovers to dig into the lunar surface and discover magical space stones. We also learned that satellites fly in space so that we can talk to people all over the world. our space story, the children launched a shuttle by counting together and sent astronauts to the moon.
