Learning through play!
Today, the children explored numbers, counting, shapes, and problem-solving through hands-on activities. They matched quantities, created designs, and challenged themselves to build different shapes and pictures. So much learning and fun all in one morning!

🌸 Flower Learning Fun! 🌸

We learned about the different parts of a flower and talked about the flower, stem, leaves, and roots. The children then colored their own flowers and were excited to tell me what each part was called!

It was wonderful to see their learning come to life through art and conversation. 🌱💚

Our little artists had so much fun creating colorful flower gardens today!While coloring, painting, and exploring different colors, the children practiced creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression. It was wonderful to see each child add their own unique touch and proudly share their beautiful flowers with friends. 💐✨

Today I set up a fun flower bouquet invitation! The children explored different colours, shapes, and textures as they carefully selected flowers and created their own unique bouquets. This open-ended activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, decision-making, and imaginative play while giving everyone a chance to express themselves in their own way.

A fun sensory-filled morning!

The children explored two bean sensory bins, including a cardboard slide that quickly became a favourite. They spent the morning scooping, filling, dumping, pouring, and transporting beans using trucks, cups, and containers. It was wonderful to watch their creativity, focus, and parallel play as they explored together.

Through play, the children were developing fine motor skills, problem-solving, early math concepts, and social connections—all while having fun! ❤️

This morning, the children had a great time exploring with cups, coloured craft sticks, and loose parts! They used their imaginations to build, stack, sort, and create in their own unique ways.
Some children challenged themselves by balancing and stacking cups in different ways, while others used the craft sticks to make
shapes, patterns, and designs. Through this hands-on play, they practiced problem-solving, early math skills, spatial awareness, creativity, and teamwork as they shared materials and ideas with their friends.
We love seeing the children learn, discover, and grow through play-based experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, and creativity every day🙂

“Z”and” M”had fun coloring the box and helping make a face for our caterpillar. They painted, used their creativity, and worked together to bring her to life. After that, everyone joined in and pretended to feed the caterpillar some pizza!
They practiced sharing, taking turns, using their imagination, and working together as a group. They also used their fine motor skills while painting and coloring.
