From special effects makeup and beekeeping to training therapy dogs and rebuilding dirt bikes, our Grade 8 students have spent the year diving deep into their passions for their Grade Eight Projects! Working alongside mentors, they’ve mastered new skills, tackled complex problem-solving, and poured their creativity into these incredible year-long journeys. We are so proud of their hard work, perseverance, and diverse talents!

Our Class 9 students have brought art history to life by creating incredible masterpiece reproductions of modern art on canvas. Through a demanding two-week process of colour-matching, layering, and perseverance, they immersed themselves daily in the world of their chosen artists.

This Friday, our annual Mayfest celebration brings our school community, family, and friends together to celebrate the splendour of spring, seasonal traditions, and the soon-to-be school year-end.
There will be activities for children*, enjoy the maypole dance, flower garlands, and ice cream. Families can bring a picnic dinner or purchase grassfed beef smokies or veggie dogs from our BBQ grill masters!

In a meaningful rite of passage, Class 6 students completed their Journey to Knighthood projects. They also traveled to Edmonton for the Medieval Games to test their resilience and connect with regional peers. The journey culminated with a special knighting ceremony and celebratory feast, honouring each student's personal growth, self-awareness, and integrity.

Our third grade students are mastering the art of the custom hat, beginning by hand-dyeing their own vibrant yarn before trading knitting needles for crochet hooks. This classic handwork project builds incredible focus and fine motor skills, resulting in a cozy, wearable keepsake. We love seeing them sport their hard work and creativity with such well-earned satisfaction.
