Acro Dance Teachers Association
We help Acro teachers create clean and flawless tricks.
Our “Mentorship Approach” practical-based program will guide you to become a confident Acro Dance Instructor. Acrobatics is a genre of dance which incorporates elements of balancing, lyrical/gymnastic tricks, jazz, and tumbling. Instructors learn how to teach Acrobatic tricks such as handstands, cartwheels, chest stands, elbow stands, front and back walkovers, side aerials, front aerials, partnering tricks and handsprings.

The industry is evolving.
New variations. Higher expectations. Sharper standards for safety and progression.
If your teaching isn't evolving with it, your students feel the gap.
Continuing education isn't optional. It's what separates teachers who guess from teachers who know.
That's what the ADTA Certification is built for.
Not just tricks. The why behind the progression. The how behind the spot. The confidence to know your students are ready.

Strong skills start with strong foundations.
Planks aren’t just a warm-up — they’re where control, alignment, and power are built.
In the Acro Tech Training System we train the why behind the skill so dancers get stronger, safer, and more confident every week.

Great training shows up in the details.
From alignment and control to musical connection and transitions, technique tells the story long before the big skills happen.
We see the work teachers put in — and we value education that supports it.

Dancers are putting in the work. That’s not the problem.
The problem is no one has given them a clear plan for what to do between classes.
That’s exactly what The Acro Tech Training System does.
10 levels. Structured lesson plans. Interactive level-tracking dashboard. New variations 2x/month. Guided sessions in 10–15 minutes.
You don’t build it. You don’t manage it. You share it — and your students come back stronger, more controlled, and more prepared.
Join and use it yourself, refer your students and earn 40% recurring commission, or both. Link in comments
Most teachers start Roll Over Bridge (Tinsica) from standing — and that’s why it ends up looking more like a cartwheel than a bridge.
Standing sends them up. Starting from the knees sends them THROUGH the bridge — which is what the skill actually is.
Here’s how I build it:
✅ Step 1 — Double leg jump into the bridge from the knees
✅ Step 2 — Add a little jump for power off the ground
✅ Step 3 — Dart out the first leg
Step 4? It’s where it all comes together — and the prerequisite most teachers skip is in there too.

Roll over bridge looking more like a cartwheel?
Start from the knees, not standing.
When students start from standing, they go too high - and the pathway gets lost.
Starting from the knees fixes it. Swipe through for the 4-step system 👆
Before you try it: check the bridge inside out first. If they can’t do a linear bridge inside out, they’ll struggle here.
