Stephanie De Maio wrote a really powerful article in Scovan’s Ignite magazine, and I’m super proud of her.

Steph has been training with us Champion's Creed since she was a kid, and she has always been a crusher on and off the mats.

It takes a lot to share something this personal, especially around strength, vulnerability, martial arts, and figuring out who you are through the process.

I’m also honoured she used my quote in it.

Last MMA sparring session for ciara wood . She has put in the work all camp long and is ready to make the most of her title shot down in the US for Throne MMA next Saturday night and come back to Canada as Champion!! 👊💪🇨🇦

What a day! The Champion’s Creed Absolute Submission Challenge No Gi BJJ Tournament was everything we hope for and more! The energy was unreal, the competition was fierce, and the environment was safe from beginning to finish.

Submissions were had. Pressure was applied. And every single person who stepped on the mats walked away stronger and more resilient than when they arrived. 💪

To all the competitors and coaches - thank you for bringing the heart, the skill, and the grit.

And to our incredible volunteers - none of this happens without you. Thank you for making it all possible. 🙌

NIGHT OF THE NINJA: WATER PARTY EDITION (Daytime!) 🥷 💦

Our ninjas brought the HEAT and we brought the WATER! 🔥 💦

The day was PACKED: epic super soaker battles, water ballon chaos, and so much running, laughing and exercise that we needed a cool down indoors! 🎈 After drying off, we crushed some games, then settled in for the ultimate reward - a PIZZA PARTY and a MOVIE!

Here’s the thing about our kids martial arts program: it’s WAY more about martial arts skills. 🥋 Wvents like this is where real magic happens-kids build genuine friendships, sharpen their social skills, and form the kind of lifetime alliances that carry them all the way to BLACK BELT!

And parents? Drop off your kids, let us handle the fun (and the clean up!) and go enjoy some well deserved time off for YOU. You’ve earned it. 😎
