Re: First Day of School on Tuesday, 5th of September, 2023

Dear parents and guardians,

We cannot wait to see everyone on Tuesday, for the first day of school, and there are a few things to keep in mind:

- Please remember the class you registered your child. JK-Kindergarten, Grades 1-3, and Grades 4-6 classrooms are at the back. PreK and Nursery are at the front.

- School Uniforms: The school will enforce the school uniform policy starting October 2, 2023.

- The parent's handbook for the school year 2023-24 is now available on the school's website.

- The school will open at 8 a.m. for the Before-School Care with Ms. Lisa.

Dear parents and guardians,

Welcome to Calgary International Academy!

I can tell that many of you are super excited for the upcoming school year 2023-24, and while we would like to accommodate your timeline, please understand that the school’s STEAM camps are still running until the 25th of August, 2023.

Anyway, you are invited to our Teacher-Meet-n-Greet on the following dates. It would be best to start building rapport with your child’s teacher, pick up uniforms (ordered online), and ask questions.

- Ms. Aggarwal (Grade 4-6) - Aug. 28, 1-3 pm
- Ms. Chan (Grade 1-3) - Aug. 29, 1-3 pm
- Ms. Miller (JK & Kindergarten) - Aug 29, 1-3 pm
- Ms. Ali (Pre-K) - Aug. 29, 1-3 pm

The school’s calendar is now posted on our website, and the Parent's handbook will be updated soon.

Dear parents and guardians,

Please ensure you read and understood the terms of the registration before payment.
“School admissions will not process your child’s registration without the required payment. If your child is NOT accepted, a FULL REFUND will be sent by Interac e-transfer.”

If your child is ACCEPTED and the spot has been reserved for September, there is NO-REFUND. But if you contacted the school for cancellation with at least 30 days' notice, you will not be charged starting October 2023.

Eeek! Just over a week until our Hop into Spring Event and first of five Specialty Markets! We will have activities for the whole family such as face painters, balloon twisters, an egg hunt (*please see below*) and some amazing vendors!

We are asking that you RSVP via the link below if you are planning on participating in one of our three egg hunts. This allows us to better gauge how many eager egg hunters to expect! Egg hunts will last 20 minutes from the start time, this gives us a chance to set up the next hunt!
