Hey you wing nuts, the great Chicken Wing Challenge continues on July 7th - a date aviation fans will appreciate, because 7/07 is a lot like the legendary 707! This months gathering takes place at Wing N It in Kensington, an airplane-themed restaurant that’s the perfect backdrop for pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys good company and great wings.

Looking for a fun night that doesn’t involve cowboy hats, line dancing, or stampede crowds? This is your chance to escape the western whirlwind, talk airplanes, share stories, and tackle some delicious wings with fellow aviation minded friends.

Nothing beats pancakes on a Stampede Sunday morning 🥞 We’re hosting our annual Stampede Breakfast on July 5th from 8 to 11am. Open to CFC members and family, and CYBW community members with an aircraft or vehicle on display. Come say hi! 🤠🥞

Hello aviators!

It's time to dust off that E6-B and ruler! The second annual Blue Sky Air Rally is right around the corner, and registration is open! It's your chance to test your flight planning skills - you're assigned a route the morning of the event, and have 45 minutes to complete your flight planning. The Rally Marshal will compare your actual logged time to your estimates, and you are awarded points based on your accuracy! It's precision flying and navigating at its best.

Win prizes, and have a great time with your crew or passengers. Registration is open until the morning of the event. If you're not flying, be sure to stop by the Club on June 6 and share in the excitement.

Life is great on the first Tuesday of every month with the Great Chicken Wing Challenge. A bunch of the club's wing nuts swooped into Airdrie's killer smokehouse for swapping stories, lots of laughter, and some pretty epic smoked wings. Yes, the rules were acknowledged, but flippantly ignored. Too much fun to be too serious.

June 2 at Juliet's Castle is the next one and will be at a long-time classic wing joint. Email [email protected] to secure a landing spot.
