Montreal Confucius School is seeking bilingual teachers, on-site or remotely, for part-time or full-time positions for the following courses:

Both current and graduated undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students in Education, English, French, Arts, Sports, Computer Science, Liberal Arts, or other relevant fields are eligible. They should be fluent in both French and English.

Young Canadian citizens or permanent residents will be prioritized. Experience in online teaching or working in summer camps is preferred. A strong sense of pedagogy, effective communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities include maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere in the classroom, taking charge of a teaching curriculum, and reporting the challenges, successes, and competencies of students to the school and parents on a regular basis. The school provides textbooks for teachers’ reference.

In-person teaching at the day camps and the weekend school takes place in Dollard-Des Ormeaux and in LaSalle.

Montreal Confucius School is a non-profit organization established in 2006. Our students age from 3 to 17, in addition to our adult-level students and groups ranging from one-on-one to numerous class sizes to curate our programs to students’ needs and linguistic communities. Our curriculum comprehends a wide offer of inclusive courses for all cultural communities using numerous innovative pedagogical approaches. We started online teaching in March 2020. Currently both online courses and on-site courses and activities are given.

We recruit bilingual teachers to teach chess, guitar, modern dance, robotics, French, English, math, and science onsite or remotely. Both part-time and full-time teaching positions are available.

Our two branches for teaching in person are as follows:

L’École Confucius de Montréal est une organisation à but non lucratif créé en 2006 avec étudiants âgés entre 3 et 17 ans et des étudiants adultes. Nos différents groupes varient entre le style tutorat individuel et des groupes de taille différente adaptée aux besoins individuels. Notre curriculum des apprentissages est inclusif, axé sur un ensemble de stratégies pédagogiques et innovantes afin de servir diverses communautés culturelles. Nous avons commencé des programmes d’enseignement à distance depuis mars 2020. Maintenant des cours en ligne et des cours et activités sur place sont offerts.
Nous recrutons des professeurs bilingues pour enseigner les échecs, la guitare, la danse moderne, la robotique, le français, l'anglais, les mathématiques et les sciences sur place ou à distance. Des postes d'enseignement à temps partiel et à temps plein sont disponibles.

No Chinese books' fee
5$ discount for the first course (Chinese is not included);
15$ discount for the second course;
25$ discount for each course after the third course.

2022 Summer Camp

Summer Camp Dates: started at June 27

Promotions in May:
A. Registration fee (30$) will be waivered for the registrations done in March;

B. Tuition deduction: $10 will be deducted from the 1st course each family registered; $20 will be deducted from the 2nd; $30 will be deducted from the 3rd and each above.

C. Group discount: Groups of at least five students get $25 off each class per person; groups of at least three students get $25 off each class per person. (Please choose either Offer B or Offer C above as bonus.)

D. Free activities for parents: Parents who sign up summer courses for their children will enjoy free online activities selected from Chinese folk dance, Taichi, ballet and singing.

E. Free activities for students:
- Listening to stories told by Chinese experts online free of charge for two weeks in July;
- Free participation in the "Chinese Culture" courses for ten days near the end of August.
