Movement Your Way offers small, supportive movement classes for children aged 3–6.

Our sessions combine music, imagination, sensory play and movement to help children build confidence, coordination and social skills at their own pace.

Every child experiences fun in their own way ✨

Some jump right in.
Some watch first.
Some need extra support.
Some explore independently.

There is no one “right” way to participate.

In our classes, children are free to move, play and engage at their own pace, with the level of support that feels right for them 🤍

Because when children feel safe and understood…
that’s when real confidence grows.

Sensory needs are not preferences or habits — they are part of how a child experiences the world.

Some children may feel overwhelmed by noise, textures, lights, or busy environments. When we recognise and respect these differences, children often feel calmer, more confident, and more able to participate in activities.

At Move Your Way, we support each child’s individual sensory profile, creating a space where children can feel comfortable being themselves.

Connection is everything 🤍

At Movement Your Way, we know that neurodivergent children don’t thrive in one-size-fits-all environments.
That’s why we take time to truly get to know each child — their interests, their comfort level, their sensory needs, and what helps them feel safe.

Our teachers bring years of experience supporting neurodivergent children, along with so much genuine passion for what they do.

When a child feels understood and accepted, connection grows — and from that connection comes confidence, regulation and joyful movement ✨

Here’s a little peek at what this Saturday’s class will look like ✨

We’ll start with a calm welcome, move through playful songs and guided movement, and finish with a peaceful wind-down using breathing and soft lighting 🤍

Not every child learns best by being told what to do.

Sometimes the best learning happens when we slow down… observe… and follow their lead.

Child-led spaces support confidence, regulation, creativity, and connection — especially for neurodiverse children.

Play with purpose 🤍

Not every moment in our classes is about running, jumping, or big movements. 🤍

Sometimes the most meaningful learning happens in the quieter moments — when we slow down and follow the child’s lead.

In this moment, we paused to explore stacking, textures, and problem-solving together. By paying attention to a child’s interests, we create space for curiosity, confidence, and connection to grow.

Our classes are designed to support each child exactly where they are — blending movement, exploration, learning, and fun in a way that feels natural for them.

Because every child moves, learns, and grows in their own way. ✨

Hello 🤍

I’m Lisa, and this is my son Theodore 🤍

Theodore was diagnosed as autistic at the age of two.

Like many families, we tried different classes — but they were never quite right for him.

Not because he isn’t social, curious, or playful — he absolutely is — but because most spaces aren’t designed to truly meet children where they are.

Over the past two years, we’ve been incredibly lucky to work with some amazing specialists who really understand him — his needs, his strengths, and the way he experiences the world.

Move Your Way was created by bringing those people together — the very specialists who have worked with Theodore — to lead classes that feel safe, flexible, and genuinely inclusive.

These classes exist so children can move, explore, and participate in their own way, without pressure or expectations 🤍

If this resonates with you and your child, you’re not alone 🤍

📍 Based in the West Island (DDO)
