CROSH researcher Dr. Roberta Heale is making a difference for the safety of women in the workforce.
She has been called as a witness for the House of Commons' Standing Committee on the Status of Women to provide testimony related to her research on the impacts of perimenopause and menopause on the labour force.
The goal is to learn how awareness, education, policy, and access to treatment can support women's long-term participation at work, and to strengthen training for managers, improve workplace supports, and improve access to treatment for women working through menopause and perimenopause.
