Last week, we planted some of our favorite veggies in the garden, which we’ll harvest and enjoy this fall during our Friendsgiving Feast! 🌱🍅🥕

The kids each took turns helping with this special project...scooping fresh soil into the raised garden beds, pulling weeds, planting new seedlings, and watering the garden. 🌱💦

Of course, we couldn’t spend time in the garden without talking about bees and why they are so important for helping our fruits and vegetables grow. 🐝💛

Discovery Tree Home Daycare will be closed for summer holidays on the following dates:

Re-opening Monday, July 6th, 2026

☔️🌡🌧 I think it’s safe to officially say goodbye to the cold, muddy, and splish-splashy part of spring and welcome the sunny, warm, and blooming season ahead! 🌞🌷🐝

Since the colourful side of spring has finally sprung, we were inspired to create our own watercolour paintings of the perfect spring day… just look at all those beautiful colours!🌈

The highlight of our morning was getting to watch the water truck and street sweeper during our walk. To top it all off, we also got to see the garbage truck and school bus, whose drivers stopped to give us a friendly wave and honk hello! ☺️
