A new collaboration is taking shape at McDonald Institute. The Beading Astroparticle Physics project is an initiative that brings Indigenous Knowledges and Perspectives and astroparticle physics into conversation with each other.
SNOLAB was honoured to host the Lussier-Wade family, who are leading this project, to our surface facility. Through discussion, we explored our work and how Indigenous perspectives can be applied to our research practice and our understanding of astroparticle physics.

At SNOLAB, our expertise goes deeper than science. We require technical knowledge in the trades to help support the laboratory in many ways, from building sensitive particle physics experiments to keeping the lights on, literally. Check out the view of our underground machine shop that makes the work at SNOLAB possible.
