The Music Department has wrapped up an incredibly successful two weeks at the KW and Stratford Kiwanis Music Festivals!
A big thank you to our music staff for their ongoing hard work and commitment, and for creating such meaningful opportunities for Eastwood students. Special appreciation goes to accompanist Laura Burkard, as well as Chloe Shantz, who stepped in as assistant choral director while Ryan recovered from his back injury, and Laura Shantz for her support in helping lead such a large choir.

Opening Night is here! Cast and crew are ready to bring you the show tonight and tomorrow. Take a quick peak at our main cast and the characters they play. Listen to what they learned and their favourite song in the show.
Tickets are available online until 2 hours before the show starts and any remaining tickets will be sold at the door. Doors open at 6:30pm. Concessions will be available.
Tasked with compiling information for a special 70th anniversary yearbook, a group of Eastwood students team up to create something in true ECI fashion: a yearbook live on stage! As they explore stories and artifacts dating all the way back to 1956, these students not only gain an appreciation for the history of the second high school built in Waterloo Region, they also gain an understanding of what it really means to be part of Eastwood’s story. Packed with pop, rock, and musical theatre hits spanning seven decades, Eastwood Live! is a celebration of community, identity, and legacy that seeks to answer the question, “What does it mean to be an Eastwood Lion?”

Today’s edition of Guess That Decade is a bonus edition one. 3 decades in 1! The first decade is one that saw tech pets, gaming and movies at home. The next decade saw the music invasion begin in Canada and the last decade saw the rise of IG and TikTok, skinny jeans, and lots of music. Guess That Decade! Day 2 of dress rehearsals begins soon! Technology was hot this decade, even our stuffies could connect to the internet. We learned it was okay to sniff our markers and holla in online chat rooms. With skinny jeans, band tees, studded belts and eyeliner, the decade ended “Glee-fully” with reminders to never give up everywhere. Eastwood Collegiate Presents: Metamorphosis
The Grade 12 Graduating Art students have worked hard to put this year’s annual Senior Art show. Supported by our Art Department: Mrs. Kaitlin Burns and Mx. Sam Goeree, and directed by our Co-Directors: Lain Schyven, Olivia Brosseau, Bella Gray & Elanor Gorgati Guidoreni.
The opening reception will take place on January 11th from 2-4pm at the Homer Watson House & Gallery.
The exhibition itself will run from Jaunary 9th to January 25th, showcasing sculpture, paintings, drawings and many more from our talented artists!
