To every single volunteer who gave up their Saturday morning to help make our 4th Annual Touch a Truck the incredible success that it was — from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

Whether you were welcoming families at check-in, checking tickets, directing people or lines, flipping burgers at the BBQ or jumping in wherever you were needed, your energy, your smiles, and your willingness to serve made all the difference in the world.

This event is built on community, and YOU are the heart of that community. We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you, and we hope you had as much fun as we did!

Thank you for showing up, showing out and making our families feel so welcomed and loved. We could not ask for a better team!

Democracy in action — up close and personal!
Our Grade 7 & 8 students had the most incredible opportunity while in Ottawa this past week — getting to meet their very own Member of Parliament, Dr. Matt Strauss! 🇨🇦
Learning how Parliament works is one thing — but actually walking the halls of Parliament Hill and meeting an MP in person? That is the kind of experience that makes history come alive and leaves a lasting impression!
We are so proud of our students for representing Carmel New Church School with such grace and curiosity — and so grateful to Dr. Matt Strauss for taking the time to meet with them and share his insights on democracy and public service.
This is holistic education at its finest — learning that goes far beyond the classroom and into the world!

Our incredible students have been working hard to make our new space feel like home, and they are doing an absolutely amazing job!

We are part of something bigger!
One of the most beautiful things about being a New Church School is knowing that we are never alone; we are part of a wonderful family of schools that lift each other up, share in each other's joys, and stand together through every challenge.
We are so incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, encouragement, and support we have received from our fellow New Church Schools during this season. It has truly meant the world to our staff, our students, and our entire community.

Our Happy Dreamers absolutely stole the show!
Last week our Grade 1 & 2 students finally got their moment in the spotlight — and what a moment it was!
Although their Happy Dreamers play was rescheduled due to the fire in our school, that did not stop these incredible kids from delivering a performance that left every single person in the audience beaming with pride. If anything, it made it even more special!
The resilience, the joy, and the pure talent our students showed on that stage is a true reflection of the Carmel spirit! We could not be prouder of every single one of them!
A huge heartfelt thank you to all the families who came out to cheer them on. Your love and support mean everything to our community.
