Jessica is a double graduate of Conestoga’s Trades & Apprenticeship programs, and Aislinn is a graduate of the Child, Youth and Trauma Treatment program.

Two from the Mobile Solutions Development program and Conestoga's Venture Lab are making their mark in the gaming industry.
After their time at Conestoga, they launched Dark Lizard Games, an independent gaming studio, and are now seeing exciting momentum with their first title, Decklings. The game’s demo was recently reviewed by a top content creator, with the video gaining more than 22,000 views in a short time.
Their journey is a great example of how Conestoga programs can help turn ideas into real entrepreneurial success.

: Conestoga students earned 15 medals at the 2026 Skills Ontario Competition, including six gold, three silver and six bronze across skilled trades and technology categories.
Conestoga was also named recipient of the College Award of Distinction, recognizing the institution with the highest overall competitor achievement at the competition.
Following their success at Skills Ontario, Conestoga students went on to earn four medals at the Skills Canada National Competition in Toronto, including gold in Precision Machining, silver in Bricklaying and Electrical Installations, and bronze in Automobile Technology.

Alumna, are you interested in trying welding in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment?
Conestoga’s WOWW - Women Only Welding Workshop is an introductory, hands-on workshop designed for women who want to explore the art of welding. No previous experience is required.
Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: Cambridge - Fountain Street campus
Participants will learn through both practical and theoretical components and create a small take-home project.

: Conestoga students are putting innovation, creativity and hands-on learning into action.
At the 2026 Tech Showcase, final-year student projects from 20 programs across the schools of Engineering & Technology and Applied Computer Science & Information Technology were presented to industry representatives as part of the selection process for Conestoga’s MasterCraft Award.
Projects on display highlighted the skill and talent of the next generation of graduates, from advanced technology solutions to creative design and applied problem-solving.

: Conestoga’s Pet Grooming students are putting their training into practice through partnerships with local shelters and service organizations.
By working with a variety of animals, students develop technical grooming skills alongside critical experience in animal behaviour, handling, and care, key components of success in the field.
These hands-on opportunities continue to strengthen the program’s focus on applied learning and community impact.
