Nous avons adoré en apprendre davantage sur vos écoles, comprendre le fonctionnement des horaires au secondaire et écouter vos précieux conseils. Vos témoignages et vos encouragements ont rendu cette transition un peu moins intimidante et beaucoup plus excitante. Merci de redonner à notre communauté scolaire — nous sommes très fiers de vous !

The Cards are given to every newly-diagnosed MUHC cancer patient with a Comfort Kit.

What is a Comfort Kit you may ask?

It is a blue bag containing:
A Soft Fleece Blanket: so patients can keep warm during treatment.
Reusable Water Bottle: To take their medication and quench their thirst
A notepad and pen: to take notes during doctors' visits
Soothing mints: to soothe throats and remove metal taste that some patients have during treatment
A magazine and an adult colouring book: To help pass the time (especially during treatment)
The cards are given with the Comfort Kits at the patients' first treatment. You can just imagine the smile these cards provide!

Hear ye, hear ye! Welcome to Royalty Day! 👑

We celebrated "Royalty Day" to honor our amazing student authors, who all dressed up in their absolute best! We are proud of the bravery they showed while reading their creative fairy tale stories out loud to their parents. Afterward, we finished our magical morning by enjoying a delicious royal breakfast together. Huge congratulations to our brave and talented young writers, and a big thank you to all the parents who came out to support them!

Oyez, oyez ! Bienvenue à la Journée de la Royauté ! 👑

Nous avons célébré la Journée de la Royauté afin d’honorer nos incroyables élèves-auteurs, qui étaient tous vêtus de leurs plus beaux habits ! Nous sommes très fiers du courage dont ils ont fait preuve en lisant à voix haute leurs créatives histoires de contes de fées devant leurs parents.

Par la suite, nous avons terminé cette matinée magique en partageant un délicieux déjeuner royal ensemble. Félicitations à nos jeunes écrivains courageux et talentueux, et un grand merci à tous les parents qui sont venus les encourager et les soutenir !

Today, SVES showed their spirit with a Canadiens-themed day in support of tonight’s Game 5 playoff game! The building was filled with excitement, team colours, jerseys, and plenty of school spirit. Students and staff were proudly cheering on the Habs all day long.

Aujourd’hui, à SVES, nous avons célébré une journée thématique des Canadiens en soutien au match numéro 5 des séries éliminatoires ce soir! L’école était remplie d’enthousiasme, de chandails, de couleurs d’équipe et d’un bel esprit scolaire. Les élèves et le personnel ont fièrement encouragé les Canadiens toute la journée.
