Here is a wonderful resource for families of kids with ADHD! This group run by Recovery Alberta aims to support caregivers through education about ADHD.

Before a child can connect, communicate or learn, their nervous system MUST be regulated! When a Child's nervous system is dysregulated - due to stress, anxiety, sensory overload, or unmet needs - the brain prioritizes survival over social interaction, communication, or cognitive processes.

For the next 3 months, The Wonder Nook FREE Parent Information Nights will feature different practitioners providing information, tools and skills for you to help not only your child's nervous system, but your own as well!

1. For those who are interested, from 6-6:30 is a time for parents to visit with others before the meeting starts.
2. The doors to The Wonder Nook will be locked, please ring the doorbell to be let in if you arrive late or no one is there to open the door for you.
3. Please email info@thewondernook ASAP if you plan to bring your child and need childcare during the meeting.
